Surprised Binks hasn't had some minutes. Thought Ladibeudiere was very good but we will need to rest Fadz at some point and so you want Binks to be ready to go.

I think Sakamota would have provided that and drawn fouls. I would have loved seeing him run at O'Nien.

Ayari did fine but I would have thought Sakamota may have been the better option, given he would have been more up to speed.

Missed Palmer when he went off. Good effort by the team though and some decent football at times. Could do with another striker to have the option of two coming on.

I was surprised that Simms started ahead of Wright but probably a good decision at the time to build Simms' confidence. If he scores it will be key for him going forward. I am not how much time he will be given before being subbed.

Da Silva and Ladibeudiere stand outs for me. Eccles very busy and very good in the main, just getting caught out a few times with some first time passing. Palmer a threat. Just needs to be disciplined now.

I think he holds onto the ball too long, inviting pressure, when there is opportunity to pass it quicker.

Swansea were poor. Should have got more but lacking of much creativity. Very early days but Wright and Simms do not look anywhere near their price. On 95 minutes Godden was chasing down the ball, Simms wasn't!

How we miss Hamer in a game like this. We look very predictable. Sakamota's first touch is sublime but would like him to be a bit more direct on occasions. VE having a better game.

Saw him play at the end of the season. What stood out was his talking. He was the main communicator on the pitch and organiser.

Interesting comments on Latibeudiere and Da Silva. I felt we were vulnerable down that side first and second half. I agree they have good qualities but Lati was beaten a few times and made a slightly rash challenge whilst on a yellow. Da Silva got caught on the ball a couple of times and played...

Great result, though I don't think we will face many teams as poor as Middlesbrough. Wright looks sharp and quick. Him and Godden look good together. Eccles and Sheaf excellent. Good use of subs today. Kelly and Bidwell did what was needed defensively.

Very impressed with Sheaf and Eccles in the middle. Back 3 look good too. Simms needs a goal to settle I feel. Would like to see Milan hit the byline now and again. Maybe not quite up to speed.

Saw Stretton play at the end of last season. Obviously a massive step up and unlikely to feature, however he looked to have some quality about him.

Surprised. With a paper thin squad he would be useful on the bench and maybe breaking through. He provides pace and versatility. Hopefully he will be a regular starter for them because I would much prefer him being on our bench than theirs.
