I think his best performances are on the left but I think we would be more solid defensively with him in the centre, where he can be relieved of tracking back. Not sure Paterson will get a look in though when Wright is fit, nor Raphael.

Maybe so. Possibly a result of the tactics. However, both were slow to close down crosses, were caught out positionally time after time and at times (particularly Van Erwijk) were ambling back into position.

Thought the subs made a difference. Allen stuck with Bannon, Bidwell defended and Mason-Clark gave them something to worry about. That was the type of performance from Simms that I have hoped for. Great battling and should have had a hattrick

I agree with Rudoni and Dovin. Rudoni shades it for me just because of him being present throughout the season but that will shift the more games Dovin plays. Both have been excellent additions.

In hindsight he should have cleared it but he shielded it and the ball arrived in Dovin's grasp, only for him to fumble. Can't blame Latibeudiere for him fumbling. There were a few times when he made crucial clearances, one prevented a certain goal.
