    New manager?

Two sides to every story: Phil Neal - most decorated player of his generation Ron Atkinson - multiple trophy winner including with less fashionable clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday Gordon Strachan - got Southampton to FA Cup final Peter Reid - led Sunderland to severall top ten Premiership...

    Possible new managers

Well let SISU put is into admin then if we can't afford to change the managerial set up. This slow death by a thousand cuts is destroying our club. Watching Coventry just isn't fun any more. Anything else is cruel to our loyal fans.

    Possible new managers

Surely worth seeing. With Thorn at the helm we are facing certain relegation. Surely worth rolling the dice before it is too late?

    Like a bad dream

This season really is the most depressing the club has witnessed since the 1950s at the very least (not that I was around then).A desperately poor under-funded squad, falling attendances, farcical off the field scenes, no leaders on the pitch (or off it), very few City goals, no money. It's...

    Possible new managers

Surely a question of when rather than if Thorn gets replaced. Nice guy but sadly nice guys don't win matches. Any ideas who could take over assuming SISU don't act like their usual cheapskate selves and appoint the cheapest available option - Orange Ken anyone? I'll start the bidding with a...

    No change, no chance

Plenty of managers out of work. Carrying on with Thorn points to certain relegation. No change, no chance sadly.

Our current squad is absolute dog shit.

About five players who are decent at this level - the Juke, Clingan, Wood, Keogh and Cranie. We probably have the worst midfield and attack in the league. We don't have the worst defence by a long way but as we don't convert the few chances we create this is immaterial.

    No change, no chance

Thorn has done a decent job in extremely trying circumstances but things are getting worse not better. We are heading out of the Championship and if we carry on like this we are going to struggle to win a maximum of 6/7 games this season (with probably no away wins). The way things are looking...

Nigeria's Number One Stand Up Comes To The Ricoh

Weasel words by the sound of it. Let's judge him on SISU's actions not on their rhetoric.

    Bell was shocking

Yes, I did thanks, Parsons. I do think Bell is a talented footballer (unlike the likes of ROD) and has ability which he displays fitfully throughout a season. I think he could do a very good job for us, it just seems to me that he lacks motivation. I appreciate others may feel differently...

    Ratings folks ???

    Murphy-8+ (MOM) Christie-5 Keogh-8 Wood-6 Hussey-8 Clingan-7 Bigirimana- 5 (would have been 7 if not for the red card) Thomas-6 Bell-4 McDonald - 7 Juke -7 ROD - 2

    Chris Hussey

I thought he played well yesterday. He is a long way from being the weakest player in our current starting XI.

    Bell was shocking

Worst player in a Sky Blue shirt (apart from ROD) yesterday. Swans around looking way too casual and does not look interested. Although he does have talent, he needs a serious kick up the backside and told to sort his ideas out. It's a sad reflection on our lack of midfield options that he is an...

The kids have done well but...

...we were exposed yesterday by the fact that they are being forced to start virtually every game. Bigirimana, Thomas and Christie are great talents but we have to expect that 18 year olds will occasionally make mistakes and do things that more experienced players will not as demonstrated by...

    Two players away from safety?

Having been at yesterday's match I would say we are two players away from being a competitive mid-table side: 1. A combative midfielder who is able to score 6-8 goals a season - I don't think Deegan is quite up to the job of doing this although I'd have brought him on yesterday. Someone like...

    oh dear ROD

His contribution yesterday was diabolical. He looked totally off the pace, kept falling over, never looked remotely an attacking threat, when he did have the ball he gave it away and his pathetic sliced clearance gifted Burnley their winning goal. The man wouldn't grace the Memorial Park and...

    Outfield keeper

After Murphy went off at half time against Derby, I was wondering which outfield player would we have put in goal if something had happened to Dunn who looked like he is permanently in the wars. With Danny Ireland sometimes reserve this might happen at some point. Do we have a reserve outfield...

    Famous Players Going To Cov

Did Peter Shilton ever play for CCFC? I must have missed that one. Of course his son played for us. David Burrows perhaps as well as he was part of the successful Liverpool team in the late 80s, early 90s.
