Poll: Should Robins Stay Or Should He Go Now?

I think he as earned the chance to sort it out but as I said in a post yesterday on the match thread, if he can't sort it he should go. We need to see immediate improvement of some player's attitude to start with, so hopefully he can address that before the next game.

    Robins Comments

In the 15 league games since Lawrence left we have taken 12 points. That's 7 from 9 games last season and 5 this season. Over a season that would lead to certain relegation. With Viveash going as well, the replacement personnel with different methods and ideas doesn't appear to be working for...

Match Thread Watford (a) - Sat 14th Sept

If Saddlebrains is correct and there are wholesale changes, (if I interpreted his cryptic post correctly), I think we will stand a great chance of getting a result. We have the depth to try something different, and look how panicked the Wolves manager was last season when he misunderstood our...

    Viktor Moving on

Sporting President says Vik is happy there. It doesn't sound that way if his comments in post 359 above were accurately reported. It seems he is stuck on a long contract with what he thinks is an unrealistic release clause. Didn't he moan about our valuation of £20M before he moved?

    Transfer Rumour Matty James

So far that's Sid James and Louie Walsh in the team. Any more suggestions?

    Robins

I did say I wouldn't be surprised, being careful not to phrase it like many do on here, as if I can read the future. But his target is now either 3 top 6 finishes in the next 4 seasons (including this one), or 2 in the next 3, depending on when the target was set. I think that puts him under a...

    Robins

To make the playoffs 3 times out of 5 is very challenging for any club without parachute payments. It's essential to have targets in any job but they have to be realistically achievable. If we were to achieve 3 out of 5 but not get promoted would that then be viewed as failure? It ultimately...

    Transfer Rumour Matty James

At least we would have a good title for the podcast. Carry On Losing.

On the plus side, Watford are not particularly a bogey side for us. We have only lost 1 of our last 10 league meetings.

Ok, sorry, but anyway I thought that game last season was a low point for us.

Add Rotherham last season to that

    Transfer Rumour Matty James

I would say most of those were Doug's idea with a view to making a profit in the future. MR wouldn't say no to extra depth in attack but as said, some of that money should have gone to provide more balance across the team.

    Early days but basics lacking

It's not optimism, I'm just saying what happened last year. I'm not suggesting we will be in any position by January, just pointing out there is no reason to worry at this stage that the season might be over by then. Your user name is cov kids never quit !!!
