Should give some perspective for the rabid Cov fans out for player blood ….. it’s happening in all the leagues ….

I don’t disagree … it should improve your chances but the stats don’t lie … it’s not made any difference so far to our relative position

    Perspective

I think Hull are the team that have adopted this model this season followed by Ipsw In January they were 2 points ahead of us. They invested heavily on loans and today are …. 2 points ahead of us ! Ipsw also have invested in quality loans. They were top or second in January and brought in 2...

I don’t disagree with that but isolating 2 players when the whole team played equally poorly seems a little odd.

    Torp or Hamer?

Torp is our best midfield player on the ball. He is also our best passer of a ball. He was our best player in our first few matches but he was really poor yesterday. A full pre season, more time to adjust to the pace and physicality of this league, and he will be fine.

Don’t you have homework to do ?

    Perspective

I don’t want to go back to having 3 or 4 unproven loans at the club but 1 or 2 very good proven players can be beneficial. I think we have seen the difference that loans have made to Ipsw and Hull from the January window. The issue is that these players are expensive to loan ( loan fee/ wages )...

    Dennis Lawrence

I think the fact we didn’t make him see out the season was a little odd. Maybe we couldn’t because he worked his full notice ???

    Perspective

With our level of summer investment I think we should have made the play offs if I’m honest but the settling in period took too long, not helped by Robins persisting with a formation that wasn’t working and not giving Simms enough minutes to find any form or confidence. However I have much...

    Perspective

I haven’t seen a single post saying the players deliberately didn’t try yesterday. What I have seen are comments saying the players may have sub consciously had one eye on next weekend and that was part of the problem.

It was the start that killed us this season

Bidwell leads by example but you don’t see him talking to other players on the pitch and helping them through matches.

    Callum O'Hare

    Wrong shaped ball

    Callum O'Hare

You obviously have not watched much of him this last 2 months then …. He’s not been our best or most important player for weeks and weeks.

    Callum O'Hare

I don’t think he’s not trying, others might disagree. My point is that his form and contribution are poor.

    Callum O'Hare

Is this a serious post ???! you realise how transfers work ? The agent lines up multiple offers well before any deal gets concluded and then the preferred one is chosen. He will have offers already, the fact he hasn’t signed his preferred option doesn’t mean he doesn’t know where he plans to...

Neither are in good form. Neither creating anything. We are shipping goals and being over run in midfield. the real issue isnt Palmer or COH it’s why either of them ? Why not Torp,Eccles, and Sheaf and make our midfield more competitive than it currently is ….

    Robins on CWR

We didn’t seem very distracted against Leeds ?

It was the start that killed us this season

We do need more experience but Fadz wasn’t the answer and we needed to move on given our change in formation .
  19. D

    Callum O'Hare

He’s not playing him because 1) is form is poor 2) his attitude is poor 3) he’s not here next season. Seems a pretty rational decision to me …. The issue for us is that both are 10’s are out of form when it comes to end product right now.

    Set Piece Coach

Our set pieces lack imagination and any threat … certainly an area we can improve offensively
