Why is it odd ? I’ve watched the FA Cup final for decades I don’t ever recall seeing rows of ex players from decades ago watching … the odd high profile ex player but not entire teams ! I would have been surprised if they had of invited them ….

Oh and by the way Forest season tickets have gone up from £500+ in the championship to £850 next season. We may not like it but the more success you have the more it costs everyone. The only beneficiaries are the players and their agents.

I’d play MVE at right back to help deal with United pace on the counter but also because United have been playing Wan-Bissaka at left back who I think will cope with MVE’s best asset, his pace. IF Hadji and Simms are on form they could trouble the United defensive left hand side….

My point is not that we should sign Palmer etc it’s that the way he plays that role is what an effective 10 does. Clearly a top championship 10 would still be miles below Palmer but they would score, create, run past the forwards etc etc …. Neither of ours do
