I wonder whether the panel have differing views on the next appointment ….
It’s taking quite a long time for an internal appointment …..
Robin’s clearly wants stability and Delaney offers that but is he the very best we have attracted ??
Not really.
I think Robins wants to avoid players thinking they can have one good season with us and then get a bigger move. I don’t think he expects them to stay beyond 2-3 years …. That’s the model in fact.
Oggy …. Palmers number 1 fan !
Crap judge of a player though ..remember he said he would have kept Biamou rather than bring in Vik. The club would be very different now …..
Those that take comfort that if we sell Simms or Sheaf or Wright it doesn’t matter because look how we are now having sold Vik need to understand the principle of diminishing returns.
We had a poor squad with poor quality players and the benefit from selling Vik and Hamer was huge. We...
Quality and class are not words to decribe Nunez. Both words require a degree of high end consistency that Nunez currently lacks.
He’s dangerous, unpredictable, but capable of the brilliant and the pathetic in the same match.
Who can blame her.
Imagine being new to the UK trying to raise a black family with racism on the rise, civil unrest on the rise, crap summer weather, the list goes on and on ….
Our loss if it happens ….
Circa £2m loan fee. No thank you.
We shouldn’t be using our relatively limited funds on one off costs to develop other clubs players.
I’d sooner spend £2m on a high potential foreign signing ….
In a different way I think Torp could play as the 10.
Less erratic / creative than Palmer but more likely to play the right weighted pass for a forward and his finishing is much better than Palmer.
I felt for Kasey yesterday …. He isn’t a wide left player and when we have EMC, Wright and Tats that can play there it was an odd decision to give him minutes in that position. Robins still does odd things occasionally ….
For me palmer is a 10 but not as good as Rudoni ( early days accepted )
