Leeds have something like this on at least part of Elland Road. I was surprised at just how crap it looked. But perhaps that was just the ground/surrounding area in general. Maybe it would be better if it were more professionally executed.

Latest filing (today) on Companies House shows that the £15m equity put into the club in May-25 was from RCMA GROUP PTE LTD. This is a company within the wider RCMA Group of companies, for which Doug King is an owner.

Unofficial 5km pb of bang on 17:00 back in 2021. Quickest of late is 17:47 at the end of May (which wasn't an all out effort). I've done a lot of running since then, but not been out for a flat out 5km. I reckon around the 17:00 mark would be a sensible bet though 🤞

A nice interval session today - 6x 1km with 90s rests (ave 3:24 reps), followed by a 4km tempo at 3:47 ave. 19km run in total. Starting to see the benefits in these sessions now, which I am gradually making harder. A good way to start the week.

Training continues to go well. Posted a nice 36:40 10km last week.

Did you run? I have an old work friend who runs for Highgate Harriers. He’s very good - clocked over 5,000km year to date, with some filthy PBs that us mere mortals could only dream of. Makes you think just how good the elites actually are.

I like them. Definitely good enough for an easy runner - stable and comfortable. Had no issues. I'd say they are likely to last longer than SLs/Bostons. Superblasts are supposed to be superb, but pricier.

I have the Boston 13s. I rotate between SLs and Boston for interval/tempo sessions and then use Asics Novablasts as my easy runner. Agree the Bostons are firmer and more stable than the SLs.

I don't usually run on gravel, predominantly road running. I'd say the Evo SL would not do well on gravel.

Last week was 7hrs (90km), i'd say 4 and half hrs per week is average for me. Ideally I'd be hitting 100km per week if time allowed! Whilst training for a marathon is definitely difficult and requires time, I still think there is a relative aspect to it depending on your current running...
