Auditors query Coventry City FC as a going concern

The only thing I can see it bringing is higher attendances so more match day revenue. I think the best we can hope for from Wasps is a fair rent and a % of match day revenue, we shouldn't expect any more from them than that. Is it enough? I doubt it.

Auditors query Coventry City FC as a going concern

Yea but Wasps have other revenues. He does have a bit of point, SISU aren't going to convince an outside investor to spend 30 million to only have a return on there investment of 100k a year. I think the only reasonable way it could happen is if its SISU who are going to stump up the cash...

    Fisher on new stadium

Exactly how I saw it at the time, but people just kept on going about why it was rejected because of conditions.

    Fisher on new stadium

Of course that is what it is about, even if they don't admit it. Its the only explanation for the cheering for Wasps on here.

    The Ricoh

Should make some people very happy if they change the seats.

    Fisher on new stadium

I said it was a reasonable offer which it was, not that it was better than the offer from Wasps.

Anyone go to the Wasps game today?

tbh I doubt there is a lot that can be done with it, throw on a bit of sand and what? At least it shouldn't be getting much worse between now and the last home game, our last game is 25th April.

    Fisher on new stadium

The offer for the 50% was reasonable. CCFC have committed more to the community over the past than Wasps, people like to make out CCFC don't do stuff in the community and schools etc they do, it just gets ignored.

    Sign of improvement?

That is possibly true, big difference is Pressley was here for almost 2 years and Mowbray 2 games. If in almost 2 years time there is little or no improvement then Mowbray will be getting as much if not more stick than Pressley would get/got.

    The Ricoh

Should never have been opened up this season.

    Mowbray looking to add

    Mowbray looking to add

Now I think Tony Mowbray has revealed he has been making a few calls to bring some help in. "I've assessed the whole squad now and they haven't found a formula to win football matches and something needs to change, so a change of some faces will help and try to make a difference in the...

    Mowbray looking to add

That's all from Ryton So some good stuff there from Mowbray who revealed that he will use his contacts to improve the side. The former Boro boss wants some more experience, players with drive and aggression so let's see where that takes him. Thanks for joining us today. We'll be back on...

    Best Back 4

Phillips--Pennington--?????--Johnson The one place is up for discussion, Willis is young and was error prone early season. Webster is Webster and Martin is a typical average L1 defender. Could also possibly have Johnson central and Stokes/Haynes on the left.

Anyone go to the Wasps game today?

So the football finance expert who is infinitely more intelligent and has a greater understanding than both of us about the issue at hand was wrong when he said there is no way up at the Ricoh and compared us to Stockport who are now dead as a result of renting from a Rugby club?

    scum

You won't eradicate it, scum will be scum whether its football related or not. It's not as if violence is isolated only to football related incidents, if it wasn't a football related crime then these people would have assaulted someone in a non football related crime (whether it be on a drunken...

    another Les Reid article

Aside from that it also makes some telling points about how the club gets virtually 0 commercial income from the Ricoh and how renting off a rugby club finished off Stockport and how under the current arrangement there is no way up for the club in the opinion of a football finance expert.
