Amazing how the other week people were blowing the nailed on promotion trumpet. Now with a bit of squad rotation amongst a heavy schedule of fixtures, some have wet the bed.

EMC has been inconsistent and looks like he needed a rest. We have a game on Saturday. It’s why we have a squad.

Three, four if Grimes drops in On occasions like he does if we play two CB’s. KHH and Dasilva will be pushing into the midfield and forward down the flanks.

it will be RudonI floating around and back three will allow KHH and Dasilva to get forward down the flanks. Eccles Rundoni and Dasilva with play their little triangles down that flanks. It’s still workable.

Of course it would be a different game. But the result wouldn't necessarily be determined by it. Plus we will never know. But I will stick by the fact we prepared and expected to play against 11 and we lost.

It depends whether people acknowledge it is the system that leaves us open or try to pin the blame on individual players. It would be quite easy to shore up the defence tactically, but the trade off would be we create less chances. I think because we have been so clinical in taking our...

I bet it won’t be a 1970s mud bath Baseball Ground or a Villa Park sandy beach.

Pendulum fans are are always Billy Big Bollocks when it’s going well, then bedwetters when you get one bad result. Keyboard warriors are always quick to wade in to prove they were right all along. Every team will always have a weakest player. A squad can only have 25 players including loans...

    Rivals for auto spots

Teams like Sheffield United and Southampton finding some form could do us a few favours.

It's a system that has worked for for second half of last season and first half of this. So I can't see Frank ripping it up just yet.

It's the system we play. Teams always get chances against us. We have been lucky so far most teams have squandered their chances while we have been clinical with ours. Yesterday the shoe was on the other foot. We move on and hope things are kinder for us on Tuesday.

    How’s the ref explain that!

I'm not disagreeing with that. But it doesn't necessarily impact on the result. Fans cling on to this notion the end result would always be different is untested .

The assumption form will be maintained while other teams go on a run and therefore teams can't catch us is nonsense. Form can go in different directions for several teams. It's the start of December plenty of times for teams to chip away.

    How’s the ref explain that!

At the end of the day, we have eleven players on the pitch that can make it a different game. Fans over focus on one the ref. Yes like players they make mistakes but not as many as fans from either side think.

What if we lose to Preston and Bristol City with over half a season left? The idea we can't be reeled in at this stage of the season is naive and complacent. We are not invincible and at times very vulnerable. Form changes, it is not constant and can turn on it's head.

    How’s the ref explain that!

What is your judgement based on. Your view or the refs. Because it comes down to what the ref sees. Let's face it VAR despite countless replays from different angles still only muddies the waters. So why not grow a pair and get on with the game. Because that is how football has been played...

.A decent post. Now you need to trip up some of our opposition. I still think it will be a close finish between three or four teams for automatics.

    How’s the ref explain that!

Come on every team can say that every week due to supporters goggles. Refs still get more decisions right than the fans. Controversial I know.
