This is a lower score if all of the existing City defenders this season. This doesn’t make him a worse player but it does indicate he’s not having an outstanding season.

I don’t think that’s the case at all.

Hughes form has been wildly inconsistent this season. He’s their standout player one match and guilty of over playing and sloppiness the next. Hull have been conceding too many chances all season. He has been injured but he was partly benched last night due to his form.

But your not suggesting Barkley your suggesting a player that has had one good half season in 4-5 years.

The last thing we need is a player living off his past reputation who no longer takes his football seriously.
