Eccles getting unfair scores here. The sub was the right decision for the team but not because he was playing badly. There’s deffo some confirmation bias with him. In fact the bloke behind me said “well played Torp” when it was Eccles… and “move it quicker Eccles” when it was Torp.

Got a fine for being over 5 hours (met some friends before and after) so the ANPR obvs still works. What I would say though is getting out is bloody horrid. Unless you get a space right by the exit, you could be sat there for an hour after the game

Perhaps but Tv always used to affect attendances. You’d say “good attendance considering it was on sky” etc.. Now you can watch every game on TV or even on your phone whilst out, it’s amazing to me how attendances have improved so much. Never really thought about it until your earlier post.

It’s easy to be hyperbolic with a player like Sakamoto because he’s so obviously eye catching the way he plays so I try not to go too over the top but I think he might be the best player in the world.

The thing that makes this season different, even more in our favour, is the other fancied teams are all shit. I’m usually so cautious but I just see us going all the way this year. I’m on the Prem ST as well and I’d said this would be my last year as a ST holder so extra willing us to do it 🤞

I’m not moaning about it mate 😆 it’s the right decision to get more home fans in, I’m just explaining one of the factors that has effected atmosphere. I chose to stay at 16 because I hate watching from behind the goal and the best atmosphere is still around block 15/16.

Huh? I've sat in singers corner since we returned to the CBS and the away fans are further away from singers corner than they were?

We had an inflated atmosphere due to a combination of novelties including, being back at the CBS, being newly successful on the pitch after decades of drabness, growing attendances and it all feeling quite new for a lot. Moving the away fans further round hasn't helped, honestly couldn't hear...
