I don't think he's adapted yet either but when you need to rotate the squad and give the players the chance to adapt, then another newly promoted team, that we were much better than in L1, is probably the right time to do it. I would have kept 2 strikers personally.

Missed this injury update on Godden if it was posted somewhere else: Robins revealed that Godden was running on Alter G treadmill up to 75% of his body weight on Tuesday and that he was hopeful that the striker would be back on the grass by the end of the week. “He’ll be a bit closer but at...

It's hard to forecast a result when we don't know what mentality Robins will be sending the team out with. Last year you knew we would be trying to beat the majority of teams. This year there are variable scenarios - he could be fine with a point knowing it's an away game, or alternatively want...

The 'usual suspects'... do you still think Biamou is a leech and a drain on the club and that Robins should be sacked? 😂😂

I was 10 and clearly very easily influenced as I still have a picture of Bernie Slaven on my dart board.

Don't really know how to answer that, I mean it's there in writing, with a picture :)

    Match Thread Wycombe

Wycombe have only conceded 2 goals in their last 5 home games. They've really tightened up. And 6 of their 10 defeats have been by a single goal. I think the best thing that can happen to us tomorrow is that they view us as a fellow promoted L1 team that they can potentially get 3 points from...

I always remember this Speedie hattrick where he still ended up on the losing side because of Bernie Slaven's hattrick and a young Stuart Ripley tearing us a new one.

5 years ago the Steak Bakes were in 3rd but since Chris Badlan's arrival, the scouting spreadsheets are so complex that Robin doesn't have time to cook for himself. Also Viveash brings out Robins dark side. When you see him whispering in Robins' ear around 70 minutes, most people just think...

I think Allen will prosper better in the authentic 10 position, with 2 strikers close by, that O'Hare has played last 2 games. As opposed to the box with 1 striker. Not saying he'll start ripping up trees but it'll maximise the chances of getting the best out of him.

With Clive's old English sheepdog hair, I always imagine Oggy riding him to games like Sir Didymus and Ambrosius in the movie Labyrinth.

What I think is evident, is that he's very used to being a radio commentator not a tv commentator. He describes twice as much as a regular TV commentator would and there's very little 'dead air' (I mean silence, not what comes out of his arse). I think that is part of the reason he makes...

I've said it before and repeating myself now but Clive is a really good commentator if you don't care which teams and what players are playing. Oggy also reads the game very well - he's a lot more tactically astute than I expected. I think they've a very good combo together.

One other observation: Hamer played 3 or 4 really poor final balls tonight - underhit, overhit, behind his target. Pinging a very sexy half volley across the pitch is one thing but threading a weighted through ball is another and tonight he looked every bit a defensive midfielder. Great little...

Gonna be an unpopular opinion but I still don't get a good feeling from him. He doesn't look like he feels he belongs there. His movements are jerky, everything he does seems a little rushed. There's something Burge-esque about him for me, constantly feel like there's an accident around the corner.

My uncle died from pushing a wheelbarrow full of paving slabs. Wheel barrow tipped to one side, he pulled a muscle in his thigh. Gave up on the job, had a couple of cans, went to bed and woke up with his leg twice it's usual size. He was an alcoholic and his blood didn't clot. Died a day later...

It was a terrible game but giving all our players minus scores is way OTT.
