The BBC is reporting that Sheffield United's offer for Bobby Thomas is only £5 million.

They did in the early days when they were trying to keep us in the top flight. It all changed after we went down.

I guess we would all like to see us get a replacement in first but don’t think it can happen. What if we spend, say, £10 million on Doyle or Hughes and then the sale of Thomas falls through? It’s probably different if we can sell MVE quickly for £8 million+. I’m still concerned (see above) that...

Just think though folks. With the money from Gykores, Binks, Bassette, MVE, Thomas and Rudoni our coffers will be bulging. Promotion from League 1 next season is assured 🙂

I don't or if it is it won't be for the want of trying. We tried hard to get Charlie Hughes and were prepared to splash what, for us, was a lot of cash.

Both good bits of business, as was getting Brau for nothing and making a profit on Binks. Like most of us I would like to see us doing more deals (in and out) before the window closes but I'm happy with what we have done so far. He won't get everything right but I reckon DK is pretty astute.

I feel a bit pessimistic about this one, for no better reason than we always seem to struggle as their place. In an effort to cheer myself up, I’m going to predict another clean sheet and Simms or Rudoni to grab us a winner.
