He needs lifting Clint, not kicking when he’s down !!! 😉 Im the same BSB. I won’t risk seeing my mum and step dad and unlikely to even be able to enjoy the boozer with mates (can’t see Birmingham getting out of T3 now...I can but dream though). One year though mate, 2021 will be better !

Wouldn’t be surprised. Also heard quite a few people travelling down to London for day trips (going to pubs etc) probably not helped I was hoping Birmingham would sneak back into T2 on Wednesday. Think the London situation makes it less likely as politically would’ve been difficult not to move...

Nobody can blame you whichever decision you make Andy. Everyone’s circumstances are different and individual to them. It goes without saying but if people are catching up with elderly relatives they can reduce the risks by self isolating as much as possible on run up to visit, meeting outside...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Its why the suggested compromise feels about right (if correct). I think the non regression clause is likely to mean what youre suggesting would be very tricky though SBD. Difficult to say without seeing final text

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

My point was it’s kind of irrelevant without the bigger picture ie there might be less ‘UK’ boats in our waters as we might’ve hit our quotas. It’s just half of the info/story Agree about no deal. Always said a sensible deal is best all round and hopefully we’re edging In the right direction

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

People either want a compromise or not though Sick boy. Sounds like this is about future divergence which is understandable ie if our standards greatly diverge and this has a material affect on our companies competitiveness over EU companies in certain sectors some kind of tariffs can be...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Kind of irrelevant if you can’t see where the EU boats are. We have quotas so can only catch limited quantities of fish in our waters. There should be a deal to be done which agrees continued access for the EU boats in our waters and vice versa. Just not the status quo which is what the French...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Both have moved on level playing field (rumours that Merkel maybe had a word to shift the EUs position away for automatic ratchet clause which Barnier/Macron previously wanted) It looks like it’s down to the mechanism and adjudicator on LPF (as we all were aluding to on Saturday) as the main...

I don’t think he’s a lone front man, looks far more effective in a two

Comedy kelly ! Hope his injury isn’t too bad. He’s so vital to us (albeit not usually for his goalscoring !!!)

    Joshua v Pulev

Just stumbled across the AJ v Klitschko fight again on sky. What a fight. The roar of the crowd in the 11th...made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Cone on AJ !!!

    Joshua v Pulev

Yeah, can’t get too excited about undercard. Will be watching Manc derby and recording to watch later probably. Okolie is worth a watch as he could kick on to bigger things in not too distant future. Not pretty to watch when I’ve seen him fight but strong. He was due to fight for world cruiser...

    Joshua v Pulev

Pulev looked very confident. Weigh in was lively. Hoping and still think AJ wins but could be tricky ps decent odds at almost 10s for Pulev KO on Betfair

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

yeah, that’s crazy talk, a no deal is not good for us or our negotiating position with EU in future or other nations. Don’t doubt there isn’t huge pressure from certain EU countries and their manufacturers to get a deal as well though. Whether it’s enough to outweigh the ideological views/stance...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

We’ve agreed non regression clauses though which I think is correct. By the sounds of it we’ll be ahead on environmental standards in the coming years and my understanding is we’re pretty good on employment rights (min wage etc) compared to many EU nations. It is purely down to control. Should...

I agree. Think I said something similar in a response to a reply to shmmeee. Reading between lines it’s the ‘punishment’ mechanism and who decides which appears to be the sticking points

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Youre right Clint, fishing irrelevant in relation to GDP on both sides. However, Macron is shitting it because of an election in 18 months so wants to look tough and Johnson needs to keep the ERG/total sovereignty at all costs lot happy. It’s a principle point on both sides If that’s the only...

Yeah, unfortunately it feels like those that managed better in the first wave are being hit harder in the second (Saw even Germany had almost 30k cases and 600 deaths yesterday). Guess it’s a combination of a few things....maybe some community immunity, weather (ie more indoors), lack of ability...
