I have suggested that before, as I think Wright has the ability to run the channels and either have a shot himself or preferably lay it off for Godden. An alternative, in a change of formation, could be to play him and Sakamoto as conventional wide men. It may not work but things aren't working...

I think Kelly is a decent player. The problem - which is hardly his fault - is that he isn't a Harmer replacement, which some expect him to be, although to be fair few are. The nearest we currently have to replacing Harmer are Palmer - who I still rate despite a couple of poor performances...

I take your point but football matches are decided by goals scored. In his current form he is a precious asset for us. He seems to relish having taken on the role of our number 1 striker from Vik.

Terrible defending. Again.

Palmer is so frustrating. He has a fair amount of skill but he never puts it to good use. He's probably the laziest player we have had since Jay Bothroyd.

That's why MR plays Godden. He contributes absolutely nothing. Other than goals 😀

While Sheaf and O'Hare are out and Allen not yet match fit I would give Lati a go in defensive midfield in place of Kelly. Kelly could be an option from the bench if we need to hold out for the last twenty minutes.
