What would our survival odds be if we went up?

Astonishingly, according to the player ratings on the BBC website, Gus was their best outfield player! When you think that his rating was 3.30 and Arsenal's worst player out of the 16 who took to the pitch was 6.13 (most were 7+ and 8+) it shows the gulf in class.

What would our survival odds be if we went up?

I agree. I think we would be around the level that Luton are : may come down but not without a fight.

What would our survival odds be if we went up?

I suspect he is quite down about it until he looks at his bank balance 😊 He will doubtless be off in the summer to someone like one of the newly promoted teams or a Palace/Forest level club.

What would our survival odds be if we went up?

I completely agree with that. A lot of teams over-spend when they get promoted and still end up being relegated. Then they find themselves back in the Championship saddled with a lot of debt.

Should Ohare now be back up for Palmer

I rate both COH and Palmer. There is no doubt in my mind that COH has consistently been the better of the two, save for the last few matches. I don't know the reason for his dip in form but it may be a desire not to get injured. If, for example, he did his ACL again he could find himself...

Out with a long term injury.

Win the FA Cup or promotion for one year .

My heart says the cup for the reason you have given. My head says win promotion for the money and financial stability it would give the club.

    QF Draw

Potentially a nightmare draw for me. The missus is a Wolves supporter.

    Fa Cup tonight

This Haaland chap looks promising. Is it worth us making a cheeky bid for him in the summer? Just as cover for Simms obviously.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope you will be able to have a similar experience in the not too distant future. Remember you only have to get to the third round to be in with a chance of drawing a big Premiership club.

Par for the course these days. We do it as well. Start awarding penalties and it will go away. Until the players get used to it there will be a few scores of around 13-11 😆

Congratulations to your club and players on an outstanding cup run. You have brightened up the competition for the whole nation. A 5-0 scoreline is probably about par given the gulf of around 95 places in the league ladder. It was nice to see your fans congratulating the team afterwards and...

That was a good performance. We have had a few banana skin matches over the years so it's good to see us getting the job done. Delighted for Simms. His first two were excellent finishes and he showed great awareness for the third. Kelly did what he always does. A calm and steady performance...

I think we will win 2-0 and it might be a bit nervy until we get the first goal. Hopefully I'm wrong and we will give them a real tonking 🤞 PUSB

    Sakamoto Injury

If there is no serious nerve damage then this sounds like the best outcome we could reasonably have hoped for. Sadly, taken together with our other injuries, it's probably the final nail in the coffin of our play-off hopes. The most important thing is that he makes a full recovery.

    Reality check

He does scare the opposition, which was your original point to which I was replying. Until your latest post, neither of us said that he dominates matches. I agree with you on that one.

    Reality check

Provided he returns from injury as the player he was, Saka gives us that. We don't know yet but EM-C could be another one next season.

    Reality check

I think that is a little harsh. In my opinion he has a place as a squad player, probably to bring on for Bidwell when we are chasing a game as he is better going forward than defending. We were playing with wing backs when we got him, so that will have been his intended role.
