    new statement

Coventry City fight to save their Football League status Nothing much new in this, other than the suggestion that SISU will continue legal battles whatever happens, but it mentions the statement.

    new statement

Wow. That is one hell of a statement. It's aggressive, occasionally unprofessional, and cuts right to the heart of the matter. As a fan I love it, as someone who works in a corporate environment and is used to more measured responses I'm cringing. All I can think is that there will be...

    Breaking news

Perhaps the 5 year deal, if true, is ready to go the moment the legal action stops. If the appeal fails a few days before the deadline, no negotiations are needed because they'd already have been done, and it's just a case of announcing it. Doesn't mean any stances have changed, just that a...

    Groundshare back on

The EFL could really open up a can of worms if we're expelled. How many clubs rent their ground? There are a few, for sure. So in theory, all of those clubs could reach an impasse with the landlord (more likely based on rent than legal action, but still) and be in this position. Setting a...

    Groundshare back on

I doubt the EFL will be keen to see us go. A founding Premier League club, an FA Cup winner, a high profile team in the lower leagues, and owners that have no qualms with court action. They open themselves up to years of expensive litigation if they make any slight mistakes in the process. As, I...

    Wasps action

Mate, I'm just tired of it all. I've marched, I've sang, I've protested, and now I've all but resigned myself to the death of my club. Fans are the last people to be considered in modern football. It's all about £££, and that's not what the sport I fell in love with was ever supposed to be about.

    Wasps action

As sad as it is to say, I don't see any protests making a scrap of difference. The decision makers don't care about us. None of them. Yes, we can get our plight featured in the national press, but we've done that several times before and got no further forward. Us fans are just pawns that can be...

    If The Unthinkable Happens ?

If it's a Phoenix club, I'm probably calling it quits. I might take a mild interest, but it won't be my club.

now it’s becoming a reality moving from the ricoh - Letter from EFL to CCFC

"We already know what the club means to the people of the city, but we don't really give a shit about them. " A contemptuous attitude for a council to take.

    New Keeper

Hold on, I thought players couldn't play for more than two clubs in one season, and we'll be his third. Is the rule different for keepers? Football players playing for more than one club in a season - InBrief.co.uk

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Gillingham Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Feb

Just been looking at the results this season. We've scored 2 or above only six times in 31 league games. Basically, if the opposition score once, we're probably screwed. As a breakdown, we've scored 2 five times and 4 once.

    Charlie Wakefield

I read somewhere (Telegraph, maybe) that said he was expected to be an impact sub initially rather than in the starting XI. How true that is, we'll wait to see.

    Transfer Rumour David Meyler

He was a Premier League player only 2 years ago. Made something like 125 PL appearances in his career, got 24 international caps, only 29. Surely we're below his level?

    Transfer Rumour David Meyler

Surprised he's only 29 tbh. Seems to have been around forever. And I guess if he does it with us in L1, he'll prove he can do it for Reading in L1 next season.
