Looking at it again it’s ambiguous. He quoted someone else who referred to Sheaf and Hamer and then in his reply said “He looked overweight” so you can’t tell who he was referring to.

It’s the starting line up that I would expect, although Sheaf and/or Wright could start if MR thinks they are match fit. Allen is the other possible starter. He has had a good pre-season and is the acting captain. His energy could be useful in an away game.

I don’t disagree but WB are a level above the Championship. Sheaf is our best midfielder so we may not be at our absolute best without him but with Rudoni, Torp, Eccles, Lati and Allen it’s not disastrous.

So do I but I wonder if he will have sufficient match fitness to start. At least we have decent strength in depth now.

I thought our new signings did well. Dovin looked an upgrade on Collins and Wilson. He seems decisive and I like the fact that he tries to catch the ball rather than punch it.
