I reckon a second string midfield three of Eccles, Rudoni and Palmer with Allen and even Lati as cover isn't bad and certainly good enough for us to beat Stoke, albeit probably only by three goals rather than the expected five 🙂 I agree that we desperately need another striker.

I agree. When Tatsu was injured there were initial concerns that he may never walk again, never mind play professional football. He does seem to be on track to make a full physical recovery but it remains to be seen how he will be mentally. There will be some teams who will try and rough him...

We absolutely need another striker. We’re in trouble if Simms or Wright gets injured and in a right mess if they are both out. Another CM would be nice, as would another centre back, but I don’t see them as essential. I would like to see an upgrade at LB.

I’m happy with Sheaf as captain. He’s a calm, lead by example, skipper in the mould of Bobby Moore not that many on here will remember him 😊 I’m sure he commands the respect of the other players.

With the squad as it stands, I think we have an 80% chance of the playoffs and a 20% chance of automatic promotion. These odds will improve with a few more good signings of the right quality.

There is definitely a more professional look to the club since DK took over and credit to him for that. I think we have an excellent chance of making the playoffs and a decent chance of automatic promotion. PUSB
