    Five subs

I have to say, despite the time consuming nature of substitutions, I'm all for 5 subs. I agree that players do seem to get more injuries than the olden days but regardless or whether you're Liverpool on Lincoln, having the opportunity to use 5 subs would ultimately keep players fresher and...

    2020-21 Squad Wages. Maybe.

https://footballleaguefc.com/coventry-city-fc-player-wages/amp/ Just saw this on FB...not sure on the accuracy but worth a discussion. If accurate, I'd be surprised at how much O'Hare is on.

    Jodi Jones

The thing is, and I want him to return to the team, he might get ready physically but mentally will be really tough for him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pull out of challenge after challenge to ensure either of his knees doesn't go again.

    Monk sacked at SWFC

Wasn't really aware of all of that to be honest. That makes more sense now. Although they might have been awful, had they not had the 6 point deficit, they'd be 5 points ahead of us in 18th.

    Monk sacked at SWFC

Sheffield Wednesday have sacked Gary Monk and he's entire backroom team. A bit harsh so early on and didn't they start on minus points??

    Investment

It is the most competitive league with the biggest prize at the end of it so I can see why everyone chucks money at it. It's also the biggest gamble in the world. Only 3 go up so many piss in the wind trying to achieve promotion and end up screwing themselves in the process. Tough one really...

Working today so not had a chance to catch up. Seemingly a good performance? What's Walker been like up top?

    Fuming

Yes this was a game we shouldve won. But on that basis, Reading was a game we shouldve lost. As infuriating as it is, that there's football. I think we have enough in us to stay up. We'll just do it the Coventry City FC way...the hard way. My only concern is the amount of injuries we're getting.

    Discipline

Agree that teams are a yard sharper. Still think that the few months off we had compared with 21 other teams is having an impact although after 10 games, I would've hoped it would be less of an issue by now. Injuries definitely having helped. But we've got from world (Reading) beaters to...

Biamou still has lots to offer

I think Biamou is the Heskey to our Owen - Godden. Maybe Godden likes playing with Max. G, what's your response to Irish Sky Blues post about Biamou?

    Match Thread Nottingham Forest

I think that we should guard against thinking we'll win because Forest have had a poor start. Reading will have been licking their lips coming to SA on Friday night after the start both clubs had had. This will be a tough game. A point would be a good result (although not ideal).

Fannies, bedwetters, wycombe lovers and drama queens sign in here

No need to apologise...everything you said was spot on. I think I purposely swerve this place more when the Samaritans number is on speed dial for many. Total overreaction forgetting what MR has achieved in his time here. Like I said though, no need to get mega excited after last night. It was...
