    Does everyone agree?

Why should CCFC buy the land though, perhaps they don`t want too and can`t afford to, as PF said last night he would have 4 to 5 buyers if the Higgs and council would except the same money what they put into the stadium

Preston Haskell IV to buy Alan Higgs charity.

PWKH said they want a buyer for the club to build on the existing land for development, WHY! ffs this shouldn`t be anything to do with CCFC but for CCC to sort out, the football club needs 100% of the stadium and let someone else deal with the surrounding land, i feel some hidden agenda here...

    Does everyone agree?

CCC seem to want a buyer to come in buy the club and develop the land around the stadium. Why! this is nothing to do with the football club and should be seperate , thats why i cant see a buyer for CCFC

    Geoffrey Robinson on CWR now

Robinson said that there far better offers on the table than SISUs when he sold in 2007 but the council would not even listen. Interesting how things have turned out

    Richardson - Genius or Villain?

I miss Highfield Rd terribly, everytime i went there there was something about the place that gave me butterflies before every game and i`m 41 years old and it hurts me to have thrown our history and roots away, a 10k stand on the old sky blue would of been superb. Hopefully a new owner will...

American property tycoon will move to buy Coventry if club slides into administration

In between Foleshil rd and Stoney Stanton Rd behind the courtalds clock tower about 1 mile out of town, cost about 30m, be cheaper than buying the Ricoh

American property tycoon will move to buy Coventry if club slides into administration

50% share not enough only 100% which will never happen. The only way round it is to build a new stadium which would be a cheaper alternative than buying the whole ACL share
  11. Gynnsthetonic

    i might be dumb

Why are ACL looking for new buyers i thought they had nothing to do with the running of the football club and could quite easily manage without CCFC so why are they doing this. We should build a new ground which would be 100% owned by the football club

If Sisu back down and things carry on as the are....

Stupid place to build anyway(the ricoh) and they won`t back down, a city centre location was always the best option, i see the council have just spent £50000 of our money on the Davis Cup as well

If Sisu back down and things carry on as the are....

we need our own stadium simple as, redevelop the Alvis Retail park on the Holyhead Rd would be my choice, on a railway line and close to the city centre plenty of land still undeveloped there allotments i think

Time to accept the inevitable - Start again its the only solution !!

The club sold its soul moving to the Ricoh, i hate the place, Highfield Rd was recognizable like Craven Cottage, Carrow Rd and loftus Rd, lets start again in the Blue square at the Butts and we will sell out every week

    Start all over

All us Coventry fans want is success, you can tell that by the away attendances and the home leg of the JPT, the fans will always be there we will not just disappear into thin air, just saying that this club will never be the same because we moved from it roots, the Stoke Peugeot plant would of...
