The disgusting thing about these 'players'...

Thought Kilbane had a shocker again yesterday.

I think the new manager may well have a relegation battle on his hands.

I think you may be right. Unless the new manager can galvanise this group of players, were stuffed. There is a total lack of desire when we go a goal down needs to be addressed, when was the last time we came back to win a game after going a goal down.

How much worse will it get before it starts to get better?

I have never been so down after a match as what I am today. To be fair I thought we did pretty well and could easily won the game. Two soft goals yet again, the heads dropped as soon as they scored. We need some sort of spark to get us going... I pray the manager is going to give us that...

Systems, systems and more systems.. the old way was the best

it all changed in '66 with Alf's wingless wonders, in effect the full back became the new wingers. The formation was far less rigid and more flexible, systems have constantly changed since then. Look at Barca/Spain playing with a real centre forward. I expect more ideas in the future as...

The new Coventry City manager will be.....

Whoever gets the job lots of us will disagree with the appointment. If its Ince I'll give the guy my full support, same goes for any of the other candidates. Ince had a good record with his first two clubs. OK he had a really bad time at Blackburn, and his return to MK Dons. But lots of...

    First Sky Blue hero

Remember him doing really fancy back heal whilst the ball was in the air as pass to Gerry Baker. All the kids at school were trying in Monday, decent centre forward.

    First Sky Blue hero

Yes Ernie was a real showman, great player. he came after Gibbo. I agree Glazier by far the best keeper we ever had.

    Wingers

Remember porky John Robinson from Forest, no pace what so ever. He did what all wingers should do, beat the full back, cross the ball, simple.

    Wingers

Hutch was the greatest no doubt about that. But as another poster said, Willie Humphries, he is one of my earliest hero's. I can still remember sitting the stand with my Granddad, as Willie Humphries skinned a full back again and again, ' Some player he is' or something like that, it was over...
