    Les Reid prefers GMK

I never considered SBT a laughing stock before. However you claiming to be balanced is without doubt the funniest thing I have read in ages!

    Fisher's remarks

Fisher was on the board from the December before we went down (i.e. before the January transfer window) and was in charge by around the March/April time. What your saying is he is basically a yes man. Someone who is afraid to advise the owner that they are making a mistake, someone who refuses...

    Fisher's remarks

Its not in Fishers interest for the club to be sold. No new owners would ever keep the fool on, and he would never get a job elsewhere. Imagine his interview? "OK Tim, what are your achievements at Ccfc?" "Well I oversaw a relegation, a liquidation, ensured the club had no long term...

    Les Reid prefers GMK

It does seem as though Les Reid has an issue with those who have a different opinion to himself. Not a good trait for a journo.

I'm knocking sisu for putting absolutely no effort or imagination in even trying to improve the matchday experience. They don't even try and increase revenues through imaginative ways.

Why does it matter what other football clubs do? We're Coventry City. The football club that pioneered all seater stadiums, shirt sponsorship, pre match and half time entertainment, official travel to away matches. We did all those things without any prompt from top division football teams.

Support is there for the city's own team. Football fans can't be trusted with alcohol unfortunately.

The Coventry public is no different to the rest of the country. Let's not pretend otherwise. Were not unique.

    SISU win at court...

IMO the most likely scenario would be a slap on the wrist for CCC, but Sisu use the judgement to seek for damages, and claim compensation from the council. They would then take the money and dispose (possibly liquidation) of CCFC.

How would I know that? Freebies are good anyway. It just means the club is trying to integrate itself into the local community.

So what evidence is there that this isn't the same at all top flight rugby matches?

That is how to look after fans

The average Premiership Rugby match gets a crowd of just 13k. There is no evidence to suggest Wasps aren't capable of maintaining at least 13k indefinitely, and even less evidence to suggest they cant manage on that.

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

When Wasps moved to Wycombe did they have any plans to move back to London? As for principle, its obvious your going to care about something more when it affects you. For me, do I think Wasps are wrong to leave London? Yes. Do I care? Not really.

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

But surely if your against something on principal it doesn't matter if its temporary or permanent? After all there was no evidence to suggest Ccfc would ever come back. Or, as I believe, doesn't this show that the Wasps/Northampton situations are completely different and its wrong to try and...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

For those that were boycotting it wouldn't have made a difference. Those going to Sixfields, the principle of it wouldn't have changed either. Only the distance, so the reasons for them to be against it would be all about convenience.

Are We The Worst Club To Support In History?

Just after we were relegated with Man City?

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

That's my view as well. London Wasps were wrong to move from London to Wycombe. How does a London team moving around outside of London make any difference to that?
