    How sweet was this ?!

Wasn't Jim Blyth's penalty save regularly repeated on the end credits of Grandstand?

Lee Fowler back in league 1 / old champ man players

Possibly sound like an old codger, but my favourite ever football game, even today, is Kick off 2 for the Amiga. Fantastic graphics, real player profiles and supposed realism of PC games presently are no match for the superb breakneck gameplay, skill required and sheer addictiveness of KO2!

    Ann lucas wins

Yet again, conveniently failing to make the distinction between club owners and club. It's something you consistently, lamentably, hilariously do to suit you're tired and frail argument. One small consolation in this whole sorry affair is the delicious irony of Sisu's distressing tactic working...

    Famous People You've Met

And me! 1983. Place was packed. My Dad had to put me on his shoulders so I could reach to shake his hand.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

All those wishing Ann Lucas gets her comeuppance at the next local elections should consider that it won't make a blind bit of difference who they replace her with, as whoever replaces her will have voted to sell to Wasps too.

    pictures of highfield road

Yep, I remember one of the slats was actually broken too! They also used to let people stand on the concrete mound between the upper and lower terracing, something else the HSE would have a field day with, before they made it safe in the 88-89 season I think.

    pictures of highfield road

The Crows nest, An extension to the concrete bulk of the Spion kop made from wooden slats with bushes, shrubs and garbage underneath. Still amazes me it was still open for 3 seasons after the Bradford fire.

I watched the 87 cup final on DVD last night ...

Yep, different game back then, spirit wise. Agree with Sam though about Cyrille, don't forget he provided the flick on for Houchen in the lead up to his goal.

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Laughable, truly laughable. As the OP suggests, the bid was put in to make it look like there was a desire to obtain a share of the Ricoh by fair legitimate means. What Fisher has said of late pretty much exposes that as a sham. There, bullshit you see. You just want to promote the idea that we...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

What was the OP about again? Nick. Attempting to expose a hypocrisy that isn't really there in order to justify his Sixfields attendance since Dec 2014....

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Why currently Nick? You know the 30,000+ potential fanbase CCFC has. Do you really believe we would garner that type of support if we were relocated to some featureless barnacle in the middle of nowhere? I hate the franchising of sporting clubs, but if anything would encourage a club owner with...

dont look here look at them.......

This actually, is hogwash..... I went to my first game when I was 5 years old in 1978 against champions elect Nottingham Forest. Can still remember it vividly, the crowd, the pensioner cars, the vivid contrast of the sky blue of Cov, red of Forest, vast green of the pitch and the unmistakeable...

    1980 On this day

Was at the game too. 6 years of age with my Dad and elder brother. In the west terrace, although me being 3ft 3 at the time, my Dad put me and my brother on the stairway that led up to the west stand with my legs dangling through the railings on the halfway landing. Dyson scored at the Kop end...

What Other Team Could You Support ?

Erm....don't mean to be pedantic, but surely you mean Prima donna's? I mean, what's a Pre Madonna? An embryonic, world renowned Pop tart?

Where is WAGGOTT, FISHER & SEPPALA?

Forget Fisher and Waggot. At the end of the day they're just there to give the odd shite laden interview or press release. Seppala pulls the strings and if finances dictate that sacking Pressley and paying off the contract remainder will cost more money than need be, it won't be done. Do you...

Weirdest place you've seen something CCFC related?

Think just one of them was from Cov, the character played by Hugo Spear IIRC.

Weirdest place you've seen something CCFC related?

I went there! Took virtually the same photo. Was an Irish bar just off 5th Ave I think.

I fear it's as hypothetical a question as 'where would you like the new stadium built?'. Stranger things have happened though.....
