Last response - you might be right. But you or I don't know that. What I do know is that if the womens and mens games opportunities had been the same over the last 50 years, the standard of womens football would be higher than it is now. It's only going to get better.

How are they trying to force it on people? They're just covering the news on womens football - to help promote it, to help it grow etc? It's not as if someone is holding a gun to your head saying 'you must watch Man Utd Women vs Aston Villa Women', is it?! And so what if SS sent you an alert...

But that's the point - things won't improve in womens football if it continues to sit in the shade. It needs coverage for more people to become interested...that'll put more money into womens football, that'll improve the facilities, the standard of coaching, the quality of the end product. If...

Agreed. And it's important to remember that this was the fault of the quality of the opposition and not Englands fault. The womens games is 50 years behind the mens game in the UK so needs time to catch up but the WSL and the media deals around it are a great step to helping the womens game...

If the club could make it work financially, I'd be up for a new kit every other season. Or as ajsccfc says, home kit one season, away kit next season.
