    And in lighter news...

Thank you all. And to those who've had similar experiences, it is scary. Baby had to have oxygen pumped into her lungs for the first 5 minutes so when you don't hear them cry, you start to worry. We had something similar with our boy 3 years ago when he was born in similar circumstances so we...

    And in lighter news...

I've just become a dad again to a beautiful little baby girl :) Born yesterday via emergency c-section after a horrendous labour, mum and baby are doing well and will hopefully be home later today. Perfect compliment to our family with a son of 3 and now this little bundle of joy. The world...

Hoping for an away draw, more than 3 hrs from drive from Cov. Purely from a selfish point of view :-)

True. If he only serves 10-11 years, his appearance wouldn't change that much. Not like the Jamie Bulger pair who were given new identities and likely looked a lot different when they came out.

Not sure. Id imagine the length is bound by guidelines. At least hers is a minimum. Hopefully his is a full term and he doesn't get out after half of the sentence. Actually, if he does, I'd imagine he'd be a target for some.

I mean, Huntley has been attacked multiple times...had scolded water poured on him, throat slashed...I think he probably has found it worse than your 'average murderer', especially earlier in his sentence

To be fair, we did talk about miscarriages of justice. For something like this where it's black and white as there's video evidence of the poor boys malnutrition, it's quite clear. There would be a lot of grey areas though, I do concede.

So, my wife and I were walking back from dropping the boy at nursery this morning and I talked to her about this and mentioned how this had really affected me and that I had mentioned it on this forum. I then asked her what her thoughts were on the death penalty on the back of your post. We...

And another thing...how can anyone in the legal profession defend such lowlife? I know everyone is entitled to representation but who would want to defend them with the evidence presented??

I've not watched the video and won't...not sure id cope. My son was up at 5am this morning 🙄 and wouldn't go back to sleep so I just got into bed with him and give him the biggest cuddle. He then went back to sleep 😊

I don't know if its affected me more because I have a little boy. Either way, its fucking hit me. That image...he looks so sad...and to say no one loves him 😥 Poor little man...im fucking welling up again... I've never really given a second thought to the death penalty but would gladly vote...

I've just read the BBC news article on the case and shed a tear. The picture of the poor boy the day before his death unable to pick up his blanket 😢 I'm genuinely upset by this....what utter fucking cunts. Sorry to use such language but that poor little fella... I hope those two wankers get...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Kind of don't disagree but I get a flu jab every year due to my asthma as it wanes over time. Just seems logical and if it stops serious illness if/when I catch it, then it's a no brainer but I get where you're coming from.
