    O’Hare

Let's not forget Statto STP is sitting at home with his quick fingers waiting to shoot people down for making dreadfully inaccurate statements such as suggesting O'Hare is a teenager, when he is clearly so much older.

    Liam Walsh

I thought it was a good decision not to start O'Hare - his performance against a tiring side was excellent. I don't think he'd have been as influential if he'd started. Might have brought him on just a little earlier, as Shipley and Westbrooke were clearly tired.

    O’Hare

Baka was beyond the far post, his header back was exactly the right thing to do. Unfortunately, O'Hare missed it - we move on.

    Lukas Jutkiewicz

The same footballing brains who brought in Russell Slade in 2016, when Robins was available. I think we'd have stayed up if Robins had come in earlier

    Police

Reg, The Police dogs didn't cause the trouble in Digbeth. They were barking when I walked past them as well, but I felt reassured by them rather than intimidated.

    St Andrews

I was in block 9, there was a toilet at the Main stand end of the Tilton Stand, but stewards were telling everyone to use the ones at the other end, because they were "out of order". Another reason the Safety team made an absolute balls up. The entrance to blocks 1 - 7 of the Tilton wasn't open...

    Ratings

First 15 minutes we were pushed back and McFadz had a couple of heart in the mouth moments with his passing, from then on we grew into it. Would have been nice to see the ball switched a few times when McCallum/Dabo were in acres of space, but it's easier to see from the back of Block 9 than it...

    Police

Walked down Digbeth after the game, and was clearly a few minutes behind whatever had happened. Never likely to kick off in the ground, but extremely likely outside and away from the ground. On a separate point, I still can't see the logic behind closing off the end blocks of the Tilton Road...

That's how I worked it out too!

    Lukas Jutkiewicz

I (think) I remember him winning a penalty at the Telegraph end of the ground, after running from the half-way line and being brought down. Looked absolutely knackered, but insisted on taking the penalty, which he blazed into Row Z. Again, not sure, but I think we went on to lose the game as well

Got to pick you up on your maths here - 38 goals in 111 games is over 1 in 3 games :bookworm:

    Callum o'hare

The same Villa fans thought that Grealish would stay if they stayed up, based on the argument that he quite likes being the big fish in the Villa pond
  13. ps1948

    Callum o'hare

Spoke to some Villa fans on the way home last week, who reckon that O'Hare is the natural replacement for Grealish, who will leave if/when Villa get relegated at the end of the season. Could this be a good reason for us to want them to stay up?

Match Thread Coventry City vs. MK Dons Match Thread - Saturday 11th Jan

That's because in 4 matches against these "vastly superior" sides we only lost once. Won against Barnsley at home and drew away, and played really well at Luton, where we could easily have won instead of drawing - only defeat was at home to Luton. Ironically, the best performance so far from...

And yet, despite that haul of points, Pompey are still in Division 3 with us. Points in the bag doesn't always mean promotion - until the end of the season at least!

    Robins post match

"No complaints. Ref did well" - except this? Except for ignoring the diving, and didn't book them for the nasty fouls - homer. "Dabo conned by jch. We know jch dives" - interesting that Robins should say this, even if he thinks it.
