Got to happen unfortunately. The Fed raised theirs again by 0.75 yesterday and then came out and said that they expect the terminal rate (when they finally stop raising) to be higher than anticipated as their core inflation hasn’t started coming down as hoped Basically Americas fiscal policy*...

Give them a chance mate, these things take time 😊

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If a sale is shortly after administration details should be in the administrators proposals which get filed within 8 weeks of appointment. If not, should be in future reports filed at companies house

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I’d imagine they want to sell but don’t want to announce it to the world as they want to try to sell from a position of perceived strength unfortunately selling a player at a fire sale price, having known cash flow problems, being late with HMRC payments and now being under a transfer embargo...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Exactly. Gilbert’s comments about SISUs interest are just confusing people. He/SISU probably mean if there was nobody else interested and ACL went into administration they'd be willing to pick up the stadium for next to nothing…which in my view has always been their strategy. They’ve never had...

    Ratings v Blackburn

To be fair he laid one on a plate for Allen second half when could easily have had a go himself. There was one at the end when he had 2-3 players around him and held on too long but to me he looked done (knackered). Not his best game but probably still not 100%l

    Ratings v Blackburn

Great all round performance. I can’t really think of a player who didn’t look on it which as most have been ill was immense. Panzo MOTM for me but plenty of others would’ve been in with a shout. Also a special mention for Eccles playing against one of the best in the league and did a decent job...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

. I might be wrong but I would’ve thought any bids now would be on the basis of buying the business and assets via a pre pack administration sale*. Everything gets agreed and the sale completed as soon as company enters administration If so, the Gilbert comment about SISU only being...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I’m not sure Gilbert knows exactly what he’s talking about when it comes to the details of the process side of things I wonder if there’s conversations about the structural issues/repairs as well

Id not thought of it in that way. Really good point. I wonder if there’s maybe some tax clawback from the insolvency of an investment as well

I agree there’s no way most people with families would up sticks for a one off percent or two. I just don’t think it would be as easy to get hands on the cash as some suggest. Plenty of people avoid current tax already. motor sports springs to mind, drivers basing themselves elsewhere to save...

Thanks. I’d heard about that but not seen it. How many signatures did it have ? Surely at least those billionaires could chuck in 5-10% ?!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That after Sunak snubbed him ? Not sure how much you’re planning on taxing people shmmeee but the proposals I’ve seen are around 1-1.5% which would generate around £10-14bn. Not to be sniffed at but let’s be honest I bet most big multi millionaires would soon shift assets away from U.K. and I...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I’m only guessing but if it’s a pre pack administration sale* that’s where someone buys the business and assets (inc long lease) but they don’t take on the liabilities/creditors. It would be a new company. Ps what we don’t know is the structure of the bids. Are they to buy the ACL company...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If it’s an administration sale its likely to be the business and assets of ACL that would be sold

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I’d imagine this is just procedural in relation to ACL though, as in they don’t really have much power to object/influence

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I might be wrong but I only really saw liquidation as an option if there were no viable offers. Depends what the sales price is. Bondholders will at least get something back, I’d imagine many other creditors in the Wasps shitshow will get nothing.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If it’s a pre pack administration sale, which Id imagine is the most likely scenario, an offer is made, accepted by the the company/proposed administrators and sale contract drafted, however, the deal would be completed by the administrators on appointment. The proceeds would then be distributed...
