I don't doubt that. He had a decent season last season but was hoping that we'd be looking at phasing him out / looking more to the future this season. But instead he's played every minute of everything still haha.

He has honestly never been that great. In the summer I really wanted to see us look to upgrade at least two of Hyam / Rose / Fadz with permanent signings.

Plays in one of the less demanding positions in terms of many sprints with short rest periods in-between. Admittedly today he spent most of the game sprinting back towards our goal and probably needs a rest now.

We've benched players because the season has only just started for us and the squad is small. Two full games a week straight away, without getting injuries is difficult and therefore needs to be managed.

One of the issues for me is how exposed we are when a midfielder makes a mistake. First goal obviously on Hamer, but a decent centre back doesn't give Pukki 5 yards of space either side to run into. Was the easiest pass for their midfielder to make because no one was anywhere near him.

We'd get them all in a row, then Dave Boddy would come out and hold each one under the water until they stopped breathing.
