EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Nobody is going to vote for the Tranmere option. Posted before. Two promoted, three relegated and 4 team play offs based on PPG The only controversial part could be if Fleetwood, Oxford or Wycombe cannot afford to play in the play offs.

    Reality Statement from Wycombe

I expect Wycombe,Fleetwood and Oxford will have to make a major decision if they can afford to compete in the play offs. With a 25% chance do you roll the dice. Maybe that is a way that Peterborough may make the play offs.

    Reality Statement from Wycombe

SISU are banking on the additional £5.5 million income next season. Without that I expect we would be in deep shit.

    A dilemma-what would you do?

I think the bigger issue for the PL is the pressure from the TV companies about Saudi Arabias sponsored Sports network flagrantly abusing copyright and downloading illegall streams of PL games. The PL will claim, rightly or wrongly, that human rights issues are governments problems.

    A dilemma-what would you do?

I agree it's a murdering regime. Will be very interesting if the PL approve. What do you think ?? Big decision for them morally !

    A dilemma-what would you do?

It's a balance Rightly or wrongly you have to let the EFL or PL go through there "fit and proper persons" checks. If they pass those checks you go ahead and support the take over. If they don't then issue over. Every fan will have their own "moral compass" based on there own beliefs and...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Another comment from yesterdays conversations was that the vast majority of League 1 teams have furloughed players and staff and no way will they un furlough ( unless in play offs) before July 1st. In the case of the two teams I mentioned in earlier post and also my understanding at CCFC is to...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

100% correct BSB That is what i was told yesterday As Nick suggests in earlier post everybody is laughing behind Tranmere`s back about their self interest proposal plus there is no appetite to return this season other than play offs plus Tranmere and Peterborough and one other ( I think...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The Tranmere proposal has zero chance of success. I was told yesterday that the EFL will almost certainly retain the integrity of the league with traditional promotion, relegation, 4 team play offs and standard PPG. Before anybody asks my source it is very senior people in RUFC and DRFC who...

    Lyle Taylor

So, your contract has 4 weeks to run. You had assumed you would have finished the season 4 weeks ago. You have signed a contract with another club on double the salary for 3 years from July 1st. This is your last chance of a contract of this type and size for the remainder of your career. It...

    Prize money

Promotion to the Championship will benefit CCFC by £5.2 million a season plus any additional gate receipts/pie money.

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

Looks great but you had better lend SISU about £5,000,000 if you want to see that line up

What does the future hold for league 1 and 2

It is certainly great timing to be getting promoted and mixing it again with the big boys in the championship. Whilst we should have certain sympathies for the League 1 and 2 teams, hopefully it is not our problem. Furthermore the championship should be more of a level playing field for the...
