I am glad. I never rule out a player before watching him live but at 33 and of similar style to Leon Clarke, I dont think he is what we need.

Mcsheffrey is still good enough for us at this level, not the player he was but he is touching 30. Not sure why he is getting stick unless its because sometimes he looks like he cant be arsed and can be wasteful with the ball. For me, hes doing enough at present and on his day, hes a matchwinner.

Tricky one. Has promise and shows little glimpses of it but still looks unfit. Personally I'd like to keep him yet and then make the decision in the summer. Definately want Bailey perm though anyway.

The whole time we were in the Championship and you would look at the JPT and I would think 'Mickey mouse cup' but now we are in it lets win it and enjoy the day out while we can. People are getting too ahead of themselves though, the Crewe legs will be very eveningly matched IMO.

Its a very good topic actually. I just want to point out we were 5th under Reid and doing well when the board sold Callum Davenport (our best player at the time) from under his nose. Other factors obviously involved but I think that didn't help Reid and he was a good manager.

Dont get me wrong, I am very PRO Mark Robins and he is doing a fantastic job but it is only 3-4 months since he joined - bit early to call him the best we have had in decades but it is very promising. He seems to be getting something out of it all the last 3-4 managers couldnt.

Seems a nice fella but I think it just comes down to the fact hes just not good enough.
