    would you?

You would think you would like to help out your club but ploughing money into a football does not make a return.

    Portsmouth Match thread

This will be a tough game. We normally do alright down in Pompey and although they are at the bottom, their results have picked up slightly in recent weeks. It will be tight but theres no reason why we cant edge a win. Its so so important for the midfield to chip in with goals now, now Codys up...

    CORNER STATS - Terrible

Its become a joke between me and my mates about corners. We are absolutely shocking at corners yet we win so many. Really ought to let the opposition just have a goal kick instead. Massive training ground work required on this set piece.

    Baker Praising Cyrus Christie

Absolutely spot on Sterling. I tell you what as well, it was only 2-3 weeks ago Cyrus Christie was getting shot at on here, and his performances has been excellent. He does what we require of a right back and a right back come winger.

    Mcdonalds goal

John Hughes quoted by Sky Sports saying that he told the referee regarding the McDonald goal that 'Livelihoods are at stake' when making decisions. Yes they are I suppose John but how about finding players that can shoot on target seeing as you registered NONE through-out the 90 mins. Not going...

    McSheffrey

I dont overlook anything. The fact hes scored 14 goals from midfield proves hes bringing more to the table than effort COOP. Ive always said to my mates at games that hes frustrating at times because he tries too hard. That is his only criticism as far as Im concerned. The abuse he gets is mindless.

    New Style

Yeah I agree with that as well. Football is a contact sport and McDonald showed strength to fend him off. The game is going that way now where them sort of shoves are being pulled up as fouls.

    McSheffrey

He did get booed. There was a group of lads near me who nearly ended up in a row from angry fans because they were booing.

    McSheffrey

Gary Mcsheffrey had a poor game yesterday, is having a poor season for his known ability/standard and as poor as I thought he was, you never boo your own players, their wearing the shirt. Cant you lot see that booing a player isnt going to help matters? Its clear to see the players are...

A number of people texting in to CWR tonight saying we need Richard Wood back

Its laughable hearing people phone in wishing he was back in the side. Wood is just as bad as the others really. The amount of times ive seen a winger cross a low ball in, for wood to side foot clear it, and to slice off his boot. Average centre half - another player I would see out the door...

    Waiting Subs

Didnt like the fact SP didnt make his substitutions until after Colchesters 2nd goal. It was clear to see we werent playing well and struggling to break them down in the 2nd half, a change should have been made at half time. Thinking of the effect the subs actually made, we could have won the...

Mcsheffreys Sky Blue career must be over............

I always try to support our players as they wear the shirt and as bad as they may play, I never BOO our players, thats just wrong. However, Gary McSheffrey was awful last night. Offered nothing, slow, looks half arsed etc etc. I was another who thought he would smash this league, run at...

    Wilson

I was impressed with Wilson last night for the period of time he was on. Looked hungry and willing. Scored a good game and is a nuisance. More of that please. Need to bred him in though.

    Investors

We need a promotion so badly. Not only for our long suffering fans but also the cash injection a promotion would give us would surely help the club with all this financial off field situation.
