Stuff ACL and the council I'm fed up

Stuff ACL and the council I'm fed up

Why wont we have any fans left in 3 or 5 years? Fans can say now they've had enough but they don't really go anywhere. Eventually something will spark the bug off and back they would come.

    The team

A win tomorrow and the slate is clean. Then its target as high as we can get....Fingers crossed

    Sisu will sell

Exactly this. No business completely rules out a sale.It would take a ludicrous offer but that's not going to happen.

    Beware Mr Robbins......

possible this could happen...gutted if Christie goes even though I know it will happen at some point.

Maybe time to put pressure on Coventry City Council ?

As far as Im concerned the CCC are just as much to blame as the other parties yet I never see any criticism go there way!!

    Sheffield United

I see your point. A Topic like this is wide open for debate. I feel we are bigger despite recent times but I could be wrong. I still think 34 years in top flight football still counts for something. Where were they then? Sheffield Wednesday are a massive club, much bigger than Utd.

    Sheffield United

Agreed. Overall we have a massive fan base. Occasions when we took 12000 to Old trafford, regularly take 5-7 to cup away days, had 30,000 at a JPT match. Yes our average attendances are poor but only because the team is poor, not because we dont have the fan base. In my opinion we are both...

Which XI do you start v Shrewsbury?

We need to be ruthless. We have a deficit to wipe clean. Baker is experienced, our captain and creates and scores goals. No matter how well the kids are playing, Baker needs to come back in. Its a no brainer. It wil be interesting to see if SP benches him though like someone previosuly said to...

    Wilson not for sale

good and rightly so. Im starting to really like SP. Turning into a good un for us. Robins who?

    Top 6

If we keep all of our players which I doubt and tighten up a bit at the back - top 10 easy. Otherwise bottom half struggle.

    next 4 games

    No problem!

    next 4 games

Hard to say when we are shipping goals but we have the makings of a top young side. Creating chances, scoring goals. We need another experienced defender to tighten the back line and we will climb that league quicker than we planned

    Cody

Its his first goal of the season. Took him 5 games. He's League 2 quality at best.

    They take time to gel

Dont forget there are fans out there that unless we win 5-0 every week 'ITS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH - Not a clue!

    William Edjenguele

Dont get me started on Richard Wood. When we signed him from Sheffield Wednesday, everyone from that camp were saying he is a born winner and came to us to win trophies. One of the worse defenders we have had since we got relegated IMO

Reply from Paul Appleton ! An email received !

To be fair VOR, We have gained nothing from this thread youve started - only that youve had a reply. It tells us nothing different.

    One in, one out

Why is it a lie? What have you heard?
  19. Gint11

So, we can sign another player.....

I personally would scrap the 'get 1 brilliant player in' notion and just get another 2 bods in. We need strength in depth. I think we already have the quality. We need a good versatile defender who can play centre half and either right back/left back. I would then look at maybe a fast winger.
