Sisu will sell (2 Viewers)

Heard today on CWR after Joy Seppala's meeting with Nikki Sinclair that Seppala said Sisu will sell the club if they get the right offer.

Surely this is great news? If Joe Elliott and the american guy or Hoffman are serious about CCFC then put a good offer in?

Joy reiterated her acknowledgement of mistakes made in the earlier years of Sisu's ownership. Joy made it absolutely clear that she is not going anywhere and it is her intention to bring back Coventry City Football club to the area.

Not really, investors will only buy the club if they can pick up for peanuts, can't see anyone meeting Sisu's 'right price'.

I'd take that more in the sense that anything's for sale if you're willing to spend like a lunatic.

Exactly this. No business completely rules out a sale.It would take a ludicrous offer but that's not going to happen.

How do you define peanuts, the club is currently loaded with SISU's mysterious debt transfers, do you expect investors to pay for all that bollocks or make a realistic offer for the true assets and the going concern?!

The new owners would have to take on any debts so its 60 million before you start. This is what Sisu did got it for nothing and took on the debts apparently paid them off and lost another 60 million..:claping hands: what a business

Every club in England barring United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City are for sale at the right place, unfortunately anyone buying us from SISU is going to have to do two deals not just one..

I can fully understand that - I even managed to baffle myself! Don't know really what happened.

I was trying to reply to letsingtogether on this:

My fear is who SISU will sell to, given the sewers that they currently inhabit. We could end up with owners like recent ones at Portsmouth, Notts County or Birmingham - all of these would seem to fit the profile of SISU investors.

No inverstors are more evil than sisu ... or so I am told.

Byng & Haskell need to ask SISU their price...

Had anyone posted the question to SISU - What's your Price ???

Haskell seems more interested in talking to the landlord.

Haskell seems more interested in talking to the landlord.

You'd think it would be bloody simples its not rocket science how complex can it really be -

Haskell - "hi is your club for sale if so how much do you want for it"

SISU - "yes Mr Haskell it's gonna cost you ££££ how's that ???"

Haskell - "ok sounds good deal"

Or am I missing something...........

Hmm only a few weeks ago the club wasn't up for sale at any price.

Now "all of a sudden" if the right price was offered!

Seems NOPM is most definitely having an effect!

All that idiot saying NOPM not working and how we must "bow down"to them seem a little premature!

How so? Otium Sport And Leisure Ltd shouldn't have many debts. They've only been trading fur about three weeks.

The £60m debt of CCFC Ltd will (should?) disappear when that company is liquidated.

Exactly, clever hedge fund have saddled the Club with all their expenses in the form of loans, debts due, mgmt fees owing etc. So there you have it any potential buyer will have to assume that in the cost of buying Cov.

should is the key word there. seem to recall talk a few days back that they've already 'restructured'.

How much did sisu pay??? 0 0 0 0 0- fuck off sisu.

1p x around 55,000 shares plus the HMRC debt of £9m. Although how much of that is now debt again?

As for if the clubs up for sale or not, Gareth Bale isn't either...

Plus the £1.3m combined fees that were owed for best and borrowdale.

would a potential buyer be able to examine sisu & their associate companies financial dealings ?
therefore, what is the REAL amount for sisu to get their money back ?
further,
when JS admits to mistakes,
early on in their tenure,
are we blithely ignoring mistakes either current, or recent ?
& are the current helmsmen & women, fit & proper ?
& what about all of the local businesses who have been denied revenue by the actions of our owners ?
well come on Ms Seppala, let us all hear your words of wisdom,
oh yes, AND WHAT ABOUT THE FANS !!!!

Perhaps more like this:-

Haskell - "hi is your club for sale if so how much do you want for it"

SISU - "yes Mr Haskell it's gonna cost you ££££ how's that ???"

Haskell - "your having a giraffe - see ya, call me back after taking some sensible pills"

They have always admitted their intention is to sell

They have?

Didn't Tim Fisher adamantly declare that the club 'Was NOT for sale?'

He then followed this up in saying 'The club is NOT for sale' and then added 'The club is NOT for sale.'

Think he repeated himself ad nausem to be honest.

Yes, and he added that it didn't make business sense to sell at "the bottom of the business cycle".

Joy has obviously realised that we are, in fact, at the top of a business spiral!

Didn't the Cassidys pay a large amount of it off? I'm sure they paid the 400k for Borrowdale (great deal that was) and for some of the Best deal.
