Who was mainly to blame for our relegation from League 1

Although Mowbray set us on the way with poor Summer transfers and a bad start, when he left there was plenty of time to turn things round, or at least not to be relegated anyway. As such I think Venus and Slade were more culpable. You have to be seriously bad to get relegated from league 1 and...

    2020/21 ifollow

Any games live on Sky are not shown on ifollow regardless of whether you are abroad or in the UK. Although they did show EFL Trophy games, other cup games are also not shown.

Season tickets - how does this work?

Of course in reverse, when we have seasons like last season our season ticket holders could/ should pay a premium having watched a winning team on the cheap :)

Blog Do City need to strengthen their attacking options?

I've got a feeling that MR will look to bring in a PL forward on loan to challenge Godden as a starter, and that it might not be sorted until the transfer deadline.

Not good enough for Blackburn and for me would be a disappointing signing. Luckily he was Mowbray's man anyway, & I don't recall MR ever expressing any interest in him. 7 goals in 53 games for Blackburn says it all.

    Ricoh

The problems you mention with the Ricoh are also likely to exist at Warwick Uni, with same lack of facilities (even worse in terms of pubs). It's about the same distance from the city as the Ricoh, so people that moan about the Ricoh being too far from the city will be able to continue to do so...

    Season ticket refunds

I'm sure the low number wanting refunds was largely due to our good season with people thinking they got their moneys' worth from the games that were played. I am sure if we had finished in the bottom half that far more would have been wanting a refund.

Has your opinion of Birmingham changed?

Possibly, I got the impression that the large groups looking for Cov fans going back to the station after the game, outside the Digbeth pubs was more organised than a knee jerk response to some Cov kids shouting their mouths off, and were lads that hadn't even been to the game (or at best had...

    Match Thread Coventry v Rangers

You think it would take Arsenal, Liverpool & Man Utd 5-10 years to get out of the Championship?

    Match Thread Coventry v Rangers

Rangers and Celtic are much bigger than Leeds - they are financially hampered by playing in the Scottish League. In England only Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U can rival them in terms of history and support base - how long do you think those clubs would take to get out of the Championship if they...

    Bournemouth Enquire about Robins

£40m for Ake will help with King & Wilson to follow, plus continued PL payments for a few seasons. I expect them to spend, but just at a lower level. Not that I think he will go, but in those circumstances MR would be perfect for them.

    Match Thread Coventry v Rangers

If they were put in the Championship they would storm it. Not because of the team they have now, but the prospect of getting in the PL would entice huge investment into them that would dwarf anything our Championship clubs could muster. They would be at a huge advantage.

Coventry city managers by win %

If MR maintains that percentage through to the end of next season then he will definitely have a strong case for rivalling JH as the greatest. Bit of a tall ask though!

Has your opinion of Birmingham changed?

Nice to have this love in, but now we are in the same league things might not stay so rosy. At the 1st cup game last season (not sure about the replay) Blues fans were looking for trouble, as has historically been the case when we've played them, and now we are a rival in the same league they...

    Realistic signings

Swansea offered him a new deal but on reduced terms. Those terms are still likely to be higher than what we can stretch to.

There will have to be a re-think

Don't see they can justify any more than £10 per match for ifollow. Huge pay per view boxing events don't charge more than that for a much more reliable service. They will just have to suck up joint households watching it, but clamp down heavy on any pubs/ clubs or illegal streams that aren't...

    Zain westbrooke

Am I the only one that thinks it out of order to put hearsay information out about players personal lives? By all means say what you like about their performances or value to the club, but this tittle tattle makes me feel uncomfortable.

    Zain westbrooke

If we looked to sell Shipley, he would command a much bigger fee than Westbrooke. Some of the gilt edged passes he made last season to set up Hiwula (who generally missed them) and later on Godden belonged to a higher level. He is 22 with loads of potential improvement in him, and the hunger to...

Harrogate have been hungrier and sharper from the off, and Notts haven't been it. Still if Notts get the next goal you never know!

Wasn't done any favours by his keeper for the 2nd, but well past his sell by date. Looks shaky every time the ball goes near him.
