Extremely easy win. Dasilva absolutely superb today. MvE, BTA, Grimes and Torp also excellent.

Rushworth has worried me with a couple of hospital passes out, and that was brainless from Wright at the end. Not a good game of football, but excellent commitment and fight shown in that half. Just avoid doing anything silly.

Other than for the reason I stated. I don't know if I'm right, but it seems reasonable. And probably all reds still count in this event so that subjectivity doesn't come into play.

I guess the worry was that if someone gets sent off for something very serious, and the result's voided, then they escape punishment. So a rule was put in to make sure red cards stood regardless. Just conjecture, but it would make sense. You don't want someone getting away with a leg-breaker...

He's also brave, which Collins isn't. He's not first choice quality, but he's million miles better than Collins.

I don't think I'll ever stop going on about this, but if you you have to go down to examining minute fractions of centimetres between imaginary lines on the pitch, then the things you are looking for don't matter. That nonsense has lessened the game of football. Also, that game is the only one...

Yep, a bit of a European adventure, see some clubs that I've never seen us face before. It would also mean that we'd have probably won a trophy. Whilst obviously I want us to be successful and get promoted, the Premier League itself holds no real appeal.

I think the Oxford game the main disappointment was that the game should have been done and dusted by half-time.

Disputing this specifically: "Growing up was the same, away from home I mean." In the era you referenced, we won away at the big clubs about as often as you'd expect us to have done. Far less often that we lost, obviously, but it wasn't unknown.

We won several at Anfield in the late mid-late 90s. I can think of at least three.

Thought Saka was good up until he put the ball in. He was involved though and hassled and harried as he normally does.

I suppose most correctly you'd say that each hand has five digits (or six, for our friends down the road). I'd say those five digits are made up of four fingers and a thumb, but I wouldn't quibble it. I'm a pedantic twat, too, normally.

But their defence wasn't wonderful against us. They got a lot of blocks in but we created multiple very good chances where only poor finishing cost us. Norwich were shit.

Oh, and I have an irrational dislike of Wout Faes. I think it's because he looks like a Poundshop David Luiz, whom I also dislike.

I agree with that; we weren't at our best, and if we had have been, we could have won. But it's still a good point against a team that have got some extremely dangerous players at this level.

Harsh on BTA. He's not a great technical player, but he caused them issues by being a complete nuisance.

Rushworth, Thomas, Kitching and MvE all very good. Rudoni tried to overplay a lot today I thought. Balls into the box generally poor.

Agreed. We had genuine defensive discipline today, which was really good to see.

Take that. Ok for a nil nil. They're not a great team but they have some extremely dangerous players.
