    Novelty wearing off?

Agreed. The Christmas schedule is ridiculous. Feels like an extra game has been crammed in and the two aways are 7-8 hour round trips. If people are also travelling to see family etc it’s just not feasible. Likely the players will be dead on their feet for the Boro game as well

    USSR invades Ukraine.

‘There were no active discussions on the recruitment of Ukrainians from overseas, he added’ Will have to see how it plays out but probably no harm to show Putin that they can call on more personnel if needs be. You’d hope some negotiations would take place before they started calling people...

Always sensible to fix if you’re pushing the limits mate. I remember being stuck on 6% for a while for my first place, painful at the time but was affordable. swings and roundabouts over mortgage lifetime.

Sorry to hear that. Always the case isn’t it. To be fair, if inflation re-accelerates might still be a good move. Don’t see rates plummeting next year anyway, they should drop a bit though

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Not the brightest are they ?! ps some good news. Think I mentioned last week 10 year bond yields, which lenders use as one of the barometers for mortgages, already dropping loads recently (now around 3.5%), BoE also more likely to reduce rate sooner than expected if inflation stays on this...

Scumbags. Hope they get sent down and/or all the cash returned. Still can’t believe contracts given to them or anyone else weren’t fully refundable if the items were inadequate/unusable

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I suppose it’s better than the alternative which is repossessions. You’d hope that if unemployment stays relatively low so people don’t lose their jobs, as rates drop, terms can be reduced again. The 10 year, which a lot of mortgage companies use as barometer for rates is now around 3.75% after...

Really good, entertaining game. Nearly a bit of a smash and grab based on all their possession but thought we looked dangerous all night and played some lovely stuff on the break. Wright scores…let’s get onto simms…standard SBT. Thought he worked really hard tonight and was a handlful occupying...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

My concern is after all of the above he’s kinda stuck now ie he can’t walk away from the war. Best thing is for him to pass away as a replacement would have some wriggle room to do a deal that might be acceptable/justifiable to both ukraine and Russian people I know what sick boy was saying...
