We have but when you look at the big chances missed over the season and it’s not like we’ve not been creating.
I’m not going to get too worked up about today as frustrating as it is. Robins picked the wrong line up but one positive is more minutes in Ohares legs
The thing is simms has been looking his best/a lot better in recent games when given the chance and Godden is handy to come off the bench when we need a goal (pens excluded 😊)
Very strange call to start him when he’s still edging back to full fitness. Chucking him in with Ayari, who’s not been playing at all, is frankly bizarre unless there’s injuries we’re not aware of.
edit - could’ve understood it more if we’d got a midweek game
Yeah, I’ve always liked Godden and he is still the best finisher but I know who’d I’d rather be marking as a defender. Wright and Simms together could be a proper handful
That related to members who worked for NR but as I say from memory it wasn’t put forward in relation to members that worked for rail operators. Very confusing !
Had to google to check I wasn’t going mad. The good old Bracknell news explains...
The point is the offer was put to members and they accepted. I personally think it’s should’ve been put to RMT members in Feb/March. If it had then it may have been accepted. We’ll never know.
No. The one mentioned wasn’t
Edit - from memory. It was in relation to National Rail but not rail operators. Might be wrong but think that was the case
Yeah, i thought Godden might’ve got away with it as he just moved out the way and defender wasn’t near him* although maybe in his eye line
*so hopefully Godden wasn’t interfering with him 😊
I still think it should’ve been put to members back in March, which I think inc no compulsory redundancies until 2025. From memory TSSA put it to members and it was good enough for them.
Each to their own though.
Was saying to a mate at the game that we need to use runners from deep more. Not sure if it’s been mentioned but there was one on the first half where I think Godden was flagged even though he let the ball go/wasn’t interfering
