Yes. The pre-season is really important for team building and working on systems of play. They have very little time for these things during the busy season more reinforcing the summer's work.

Acute appendicitis isn't an injury in my book. There's been no recurrence of his foot problem either as far as I know.

He's not been hurt again since he came back as far as I know despite plaing in every game, I think. I don't think he's injury prone, he's had a good bit of misfortune for sure. People talk shit and it becomes accepted as fact!
