I disagree. He is a decent player as we have seen against us a few times, but there are a lot of alarming stories about his poor attitude which I think would put MR off signing him. My hunch is that he will end up going abroad.

Newton might yet make it into league football. I remember reading that he was a very quiet lad which was deemed to be holding him back. I believe he had the talent, so a couple of years in non league building up his confidence might have done him the world of good.

Agreed. Daz has always come across as a good guy all the way back from the GMK days, never getting involved in petty squabbles and being positive about the City. His tipping has always been awful mind you :)

We averaged nearly 35,000 in our first season in the top flight in 1967/68, so we won't be beating that. Should certainly beat our highest PL average though.
