Some of the best attacking football weve played for years

Here's a piece about steroid injections back in the 60s and 70s. Tommy Smith of Liverpool is probably the most well known story "There is a story about Allan McGraw, one of the great legends of Scottish football, that the Greenock Morton striker had 25 injections in his knees in one season...

and 10 goals for Baggies the season before. He's proven.

A lot of those old players were crippled by having their knees and ankles pumped with steroid injections.

He also knew how to adjust once Simmo came on. He's a very clever player.

    Transfer Rumour Carl Rushworth

He wasn't fouled, I'm not sure there was even contact but I've not seen it back since. In my mind, he got himself into a pickle under pressure and twisted his knee falling over.

    Transfer Rumour Carl Rushworth

The Milan mistake cost us the playoffs there's really no point trying to blame Wilson. Wilson was there in our hour of need after Collins's confidence was blown. It probably cost Milan his big move this summer too poor lad. At least he seems to have put it behind him now.

    Transfer Rumour Carl Rushworth

Don't forget that Wilson had hardly played for months! The goal was on the MVE howler, not Wilson.

Dovin had been linked with interest from Europe I think before his injury. Don't forget that his injury was a result of a bad mistake too when he was put under pressure. I'd like to see us sign a really top keeper next summer a little bit older maybe and build the next team around that (like all...

I noticed Lampard called him a very, very good player. I've not heard that of anyone else I don't think.

He's coming along, he'll beat his man all ends up but his crossing is still very random. I think he often just doesn't look up because he's concentrating so hard on the ball and then he doesn't know where the support is and who's making a run for him so the ball get's wasted. He'd be better just...

Unfortunately not but we do need to get the best out of him while he's here, we can't afford to carry him.

Yes brilliant. Milan's crossing has be the best I've seen from him. We've seen it a few times over the years when we've been at full strength early in the season so let's hope the squad is deep enough when we get a few bumps and scrapes. We will need to see more from Ellis particularly I think...

    Transfer Rumour Kaine Kesler-Hayden

I'd like to see how MVE plays in front of KKH while they're both here and to rest Tats sometimes. His crossing seems to have improved this season and that might improve our defence on the right too. I think MVE might well be gone in January anyway if someone will just pay the asking price!

    Transfer Rumour Carl Rushworth

Rushworth can get distance on his kicks but he lacks accuracy in both direction and length at the moment. I don't know if that's lack of playing time or what. He hasn't been under much in the way of real pressure yet but his weaknesses are clear, I think. He wasn't to blame for the goal, the...

Beating the RB but not crossing with enough quality.
