You can almost see him thinking "Jeez, I haved scored or got an assist in two years - better not f*ck this one up too!" and then the wheels come off again. Another silly yellow yesterday too.

Nobody can compare playing football for a small fortune a week to "employment".

Haji was all over the pitch last night, defending our box, dropping deep to get the ball in MF during the 2nd half, since he was getting nothing much up top and he still had the energy for the final break. I thought he had a very good game.

He did come in on a free too but yes he f*cked off for the money.

I thought so at the time and Tats clearly did too, but watching it back and, in the context of the match where the ref let quite a lot go, I wasn't really convinced.

    Awfull tactics from lampard

In August I'd have taken his Nan! If I was the opposition mangers I'd be looking to put a big, ugly bastard on him from set pieces and put the ball on his head. I'm surprised nobody's really done it yet but the quality of some of our play hasn't really given them a chance. I'm sure we'll see...

    Awfull tactics from lampard

Me? I knew that he woiuld have to play being on loan. I recognised that Rushworth would take time to settle down and I hoped that he would and that's just what happened, even Lampard commented on it last week! I wanted an experienced keeper over a kid on loan. Rushworth will be a bit unhappy...

I'm not sure I agree about Bidwell. He needs more time on the pitch for the occasions that we need him to play. I think he should probably rotate more often to give JDS more of a break. EMC doesn't cover that position well enough and it can expose either of them sometimes. I do agree that our...

This! We haven't been getting the to him consistently since the break, particularly from the left.

    Awfull tactics from lampard

We need to mix it up and I'm sure Lampard would agree. A long ball is the often the easy option and not the right one. Far too many times we're just giving the opponents the ball back. Rushworth's kicking just isn't accurate enough and our forwards don't hold the ball up too well either.

I'm sure he'd like to play against Woolfie every week too! How can the lad not be fit yet, he really seemed to tire in the last 30 mins and we had no options on the bench. It doesn't look like he can jump much either. Luckily Woolfie doesn't have to!

We developing a worrying tendency to go too long and too often, it's horrible to watch. Really played to their strengths on Friday.

Kitching's a game off suspension after collecting unnecessary yellows, for example. We'll need Lati at some stage but he's been injured and can't be match sharp even if he's on the bench.

What are your feelings of gordan strachans time as manager here

People make just the same arguments about Simmo re easier games etc. I certainly count penalties I've seen enough missed over the years!

Having the cheek to bad mouth the club after such a poor season is why he's disliked so much

Ballamy was crocked when he came no doubt about it - we were surely lied to about the extent of that injury. Hughes was ok enough, top scorer.

I'm not sure it is just a calf thing but there was/is a calf problem. Reading between the lines he also has to strengthen his shoulder too https://www.pressreader.com/uk/coventry-telegraph/20251018/281943139100135
