Although she is saying he's only apologised for the offence she's taken, rather than causing her any offence. I always like to use that form of apology, shows a nice amount of arrogance.

It shows again that he hasn't quite got the hang of what comments may be deemed slightly inappropriate or a bit creepy. I think he's suffered enough now though, but it is the sort of story that a lot of people enjoy reading about.

He has apologised according to this report (at the bottom), but this story just gets worse for him. The original one has gone too far now though IMO...

I think you've misread the message, no one is threatening to throw acid in faces. The man is writing that the woman has shown acidity (sourness) at the compliment he thought he was making.

If you're amongst friends, or in private, then you can generally pick up whether things are being said in jest, and you may well say things that, if taken out of context, would be damning. That's where he should have known better, he doesn't know this woman, he shouldn't have made the comment...

Or he could try and not make any reference to her appearance as it's not relevant. I see from his linkedin page he's a fan of photography, I wonder if he's added that today.

Treating everyone the same isn't quite good enough any more, you should treat people how they want to be treated. Of course this is difficult as you have to have awareness of the people/person in question. In this instance the chap seems to have been aware that he was treading on dangerous...

Is the Premier League Out of reach

I'm surprised so many are making profits, on the basis we could do to I'm all for someone risking their money to get us there and then take the profit. At the ticket prices clubs charge in the league I probably wouldn't go to as many games, but I'd enjoy the success we'd have along the way.

Unless there was anyone out of screen, then surely it was offside under the new rules. Didn't look like anyone complained though.

Have we (or SISU) missed out financially with Bournemouth going up?

The Accounts say we received £2.1m in transfer fees, this would also include Christie. The deal may go up to £3m depending on future clauses, but I'd suggest the original sale was £2m at the most.

The BBC website had this earlier in the week. What is new? The Premier League states: "A player in an offside position shall be penalised if he; 1. Clearly attempts to play a ball which is close to him when this action impacts on an opponent or; 2. Makes an obvious action which clearly impacts...

    Pay on the gate?

I'd say us offering a good price compared to other clubs would help define value for money in this instance, but I guess opinions differ on the matter.

    Pay on the gate?

The adult tickets for Sheff Wed Category A* games are between £45 and £52, under 11's would cost £21. Our prices are as cheap as you could reasonably expect them to be. The Sheff Wed pricing structure is far too confusing, I hope we never go down this route in the future...

    Wearing Your Clubs Colours

Took my 7 year old along yesterday, he had the choice of coming to the game or going to my mums, and as he went to a couple of games last season and didn't enjoy it (he hasn't shown any real interest in football before) he was originally choosing grandma's, but for some reason he chose the...
