    Next Protest

Come on - how can you defend the running of the club over the last nine years. It's not necessarily the investment - it's the lack of ambition that's turning fans away from the club. Fair play to you for being forever an optimist, but you cannot blame the majority who have had enough. We need...

    Next Protest

Not read the whole thread - but for future protests at home we must do our best to inform the away fans. Sheff United had some legitimate complaints about travelling all the way on a week night without prior warning. I think they had good reason to be annoyed up to a point. (Whistles etc)...

To The Misled and Affronted Sheffield United Fans - our right to reply...

I don't understand why the sheff u fans were supportive of the charlton protest (throwing stuff on pitch) versus our protest (running on the pitch)? Both were not violent. Both stopped the game, and both games started again. There's no difference in my eyes. And as for the whistles - get...

    The bottom line

What I don't get is that he says SISU will not put any money in and we can only live on a cashflow month-to-month basis. So how on earth can he still be banging on about a new stadium ? Where's the money for that coming from Tim?

    From A Sheffield United

As always you do have an element of muppets in any fan base. I'm sure the vast majority of united fans agreed with the principle of what we were doing. The whistles were a needed part of the protest for maximum effect. But am afraid you (the united fans) were part of the collateral damage in...

Match Thread Coventry v Sheff Utd Match Thread - Thursday 15th Dec

I felt the same. It was like the fans taking control and sticking our fingers up at SISU. I'm too old to go on the pitch (and I'd lose my qualification if I got arrested) but I cannot be more proud and thankful to the lads who did run on the pitch. The result of the game is irrelevant -...

    Protest

Well done to those who ran on the pitch. They got the banner on sky, stopped the game - point made. The game was a mere side story to what was needed to be achieved tonight. Job done. Ironically I think the atmosphere and the constant noise from the fans drove our players on - we played well.

MQ was telling it like it is. To be be fair any manager worth his salt should steer very clear of Cov. We all know that he's right and what he said makes sense to me. JFH next job is a very important one for his career- and if i wasn't a Cov fan I wouldn't touch this club with a barge pole...

    Our average attendance

When we were flying high last season we were getting big crowds. They surely didn't have to sell madison. It was reported that he didn't want to go. He must have played only 40 games with us under our ownership. It's short term profit for no long term game. They didn't sell him for CCFC...

    Our average attendance

Agreed. But SISU need to be more transparent. Thousands of fans do not believe that the way they run the club is in the clubs interests. Hence they do not come. It's the sale of players who have hardly played any games for us to get a quick buck. The lack of a full squad of players of...

    Our average attendance

What excuses are people using other than being pissed off with the footy or hating the owners out of interest? That's surely the only excuses being used? It's becoming ridiculous - people who hate SISU (NOPM) I can understand. People who think the football is shite and not worth the ticket...

No you've missed the point of my post. I'm in awe over how you simply seem to carry on without being depressed about the situation. I'm not saying that we should definitely be getting promoted next season or the season after. But I see no hope that it will ever happen now.

Yes I obviously support the club not the owners when I go. As does everyone else i assume? I suppose I'm basically tipping my hat to everyone who still has any hope. You have the patients of a saint!

I'm a season ticket holder and still go. HOWEVER I absolutely understand why people don't go. There's supporting a club that is a bit shit but still trying and there's supporting a club who's owners don't give a fuck. I'm seariously considering my renewal next season. I applaud everyone on...

    Investment on the Horizon?

Yeah I live near the old factory. Funny thing is our most famous kit was designed and made in Leicester! Thinking the designers were having a laugh at our expense!

Brian Richardson or Tim Fisher ?

Richardson - we're in this shite situation because of him. BUT he genuinely loved the club and had ambition. Just like us fans. Seppala has no love or ambition for this club. Won't even sell it now there's no future. Robinson let tens of millions of debt get written off for SISU to step in...

    What would happen if?

I dont want liquidation, it would be a long way back - but this new club crap is rubbish. The same city and fans will go to watch the new club. That's the club, not the badge, the history is ours and not SISU's or anyone else's. The 87 cup win is ours. Just like when I see AFC Wimbledon I...

New manager - who do you want?? (realistic candidates only)

Trump.......He'd build a wall and our defensive stats would improve immensely. Edit - I'm not pro Trump BTW!
