Rudoni will only get better. 5 years from his peak. He's ahead of where O'Hare was when he was 22 and we turned him into a 8m player.

Not true. The 10 engages defensive midfielders. Strikers engage the back line. We'd end up leaving Sheaf & Eccles outnumbered and get overrun.

4-4-2 won't work. We need to provide greater protection for our backline not less. Would keep Palmer as a 'Plan B' substitute to provide energy & creativity from the bench this season & probably let him go on a free at the end. Can't see who would pay a fee & wages for him this summer - other...

People need to chill out. I bet we miss out on 10+ players every summer. A lot of the time there is a team willing to pay more than you think they’re worth. There is also a ton of other considerations (location, career move etc) Doesn’t mean we won’t sign good players.

Biggest issue for me with Palmer is his out of possession positioning. In a lot of games he's been too high (up with Simms) and leaves a massive gap in the centre and our DMs are exposed. Not sure if its tactical instruction or if he is conserving energy - but we get overrun against better...
