Heartfelt message to those going to Sixfields

I agree that clubs should NOT move grounds. But I do despair that the reason there is a sudden change of stance towards the way the club is run by some people is because the club is moving from Coventry - and that as a consequence they are now urging others not to attend matches - when they...

Heartfelt message to those going to Sixfields

I haven't lived in Coventry for 38 years. Travelling to HR or Ricoh has involved a 200m round trip. I travelled that far because I was a CCFC supporter. Most of the so called 'real' supporters on here only want to follow the team in Coventry, apparently.

Heartfelt message to those going to Sixfields

The move out of Coventry is irrelevant to me and thousands of other supporters. many many fans already travelled well over 34 miles to see THEIR team play. For a lot of us Sixfields is nearer than we usually travel. The move out of Coventry is a distraction. If people do not see that SISU are...

Can someone explain the 150K offer to me?

Their biggest mistake was getting involved with football at all.

Can someone explain the 150K offer to me?

SISU didn't try to buy into the ground though did they? They could have bought the Higgs share very easily in the five years before but they didn't. They could have paid a fair price for the mortgage but they didn't.

Can someone explain the 150K offer to me?

I think you could point to an earlier game changer than that. what about not paying any rent for 12 months, if I were a landlord that would certainly change my attitude to a lodger. what about selling Juke, thus weakening an already weak team and getting us relegated - that was a bit of a game...

'Cutting off the nose to spite the face'

So to rubbish Ernie's case you pick on one point to arbitrarily dispute and the whole argument comes tumbling down does it? So far SISU have not paid any rent for a year and yet it is the rent which holding us back? f8ck me no wonder the country is in a state if that's the sort of logic that...

It is possible to support another team or is it?

If you can get to see your team easily you're not likely to support another. Hence anyone living in Coventry has had no reason to support anyone else. But it wil be a different story if CCFC aren't playing in Cov. There will be easier teams to get to than Northampton and if you go often enough...

    Next Steps - A Question

I must admit I am struggling to see SISU's end game from the latest events. What will they do when ACL rip up the Ricoh pitch and put something else in its place? If Coventry hasn't a football club it doesn't need a stadium. It normally takes between 5 and 7 years to get a stadium built even...

Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

Are you sure you don't mean damp squits? Personally I wouldn't take legal advice from someone who doesn't check their english. but I suppose legal experts rely on their secretaries to get the wording right on contracts. plus the amount of time you spend on here must be costing someone a fortune.

Who Should have paid for the Ricoh site Clean-up?

I'm glad to see we aren't getting polarised comments any more. No one has set their opinion in concrete and continues to persue a one-eyed agenda. Oh wait - no they do.

    tim speaks.....bullshit as usual

The more I see of your posts the more I think you are actually Tim Fisher. CCFC designed the Ricoh stadium when they had AMBITIONS to be a premier league club. You build a £12m stadium for league 1/2 ambition at best. Telford are currently in BSN with a similar ground they just built.

    where will this end up?

Excuse me m8 but I don't believe that's my view. What I want is CCFC to be a football club and not a tool for the owners to make loads of money while the club shrinks to virtual non-existence.

    where will this end up?

The courts might well ask why SISU would want to buy back Ltd at all if they contest it is just a property arm. If they buy it back presumably they also buy the debts. ie to ACL. Where will that get them?

Some questions the Administrator wil have to address

....and it is because they are not getting paid that they get to the nub of a problem very quickly. What advantage is there for Appleton to act really quickly? His report seems to be designed to provide himself with lots more work and lots more time and absolutely nothing else.
