"My view is that football or no football, not enough is happening at the Ricoh Arena"

what about if they reduced the size of the stadium to suit how many people might actually turn up to watch league 1 games and redeveloped the rest? Nice little compact ground for 12K would be ideal.

    Sickfields...was TF right?

If all the people go to the Ricoh, who say they are just waiting for us to return home, then there will be a sell out every game.

    Kettering Town FC

Oh I see - so they should have no trouble raising the cash at all.

    Kettering Town FC

They should already be out of business. Note the sentence with the words 'financial failures'. But there similarities to CCFC in that they do not appear to like paying rent.

    Thorn - Year up yet?

You have a funny memory. why on earth would the fans have demanded that. He was made manager because he cost SISU zero pounds.

    Top 6

I would like to think that SISU / Otium will really make an effort to get the fans back on side. That means keeping the players we have. Pressley can't do much to strengthen but a season when we don't have four different managers would be a good start. I'd say top six but the squad is a bit thin.

    Coventry v Preston Goals.

is that before or after the transfer embargo is lifted?

They would have got f*ck all. Ltd is £60m in debt with no assets. If anyone had a gun to their head it was ACL. Accept what we offer or we liquidate the club.

would have accepting the CVA helped ACL?

GORDON STRACHAN - Friend or Foe?

I have never thought Strachan is a good manager. He was green when he became manager for us but he has never overcome his deficiencies. He does OK when the team itself clicks but when things start to go wrong he has never shown any aptitude to halt a slide. He should have been sacked in the...

    Franchise - Relocation

Nene Park is in the arse end of nowhere. It has had two clubs Rushdon and Kettering go to the wall while playing there. it is not a location where SISU will be able to sell many pies.

It is no good going over old ground. Sisu are hedge fund managers. People do not seem to realise what that entails. They do not RUN businesses. They divide them up to get the biggest return out of the good parts and ditch the bad parts. In terms of CCFC - the bad part is the team, it will...

Heartfelt message to those going to Sixfields

I am talking about the 9-10000 people who were going to games last season but not this. There were plenty of reasons not to support the regime before but all those decided supporting the team was more important when they only had a mile to travel.

Heartfelt message to those going to Sixfields

On the final straw point. My final straw was long long ago, but I have never urged others not to attend. That is up to them and you try win people over by the power of argument. If the argument doesn't work then you have to accept that they just have a different opinion. The point regarding not...
