    Plans for new stadium revealed

The crucial word there is MASTERPLAN. A masterplan just has a block for the building. It is not a design - it is a geographical exercise.

    Plans for new stadium revealed

Takes the wind out of Sandra Garlic's sails if it has already been designed ....whoops its only an artists impression of a theoretical stadium on a very flat site. Still SISU show they really mean business

It's confirmed - 12,000 stadium is more than enough.

Grendell actually makes a good point even though he doesn't know it and his intention is to point score. The problem SISU would have with any new stadium is not knowing how big it needed to be. Even a 12K stadium could be a morgue like Darlington's with 2K rattling around in it.

    Times Today - SISU Indictment

And for Grendel's benefit - just in case he doesn't get it - this is what awaits CCFC if SISU/Otium ever got their hands on the stadium.

    Brian Moore...NOPM

This is no worse than the Bluebirds playing in red. Or a club playing 34 miles from home. The FA/FL will do f all.

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

Grendel - your entire attitude seems to be borne out of a grudge against the council. Maybe a councillor shagged your wife - I don't know. The fact is Coventry council owe CCFC nothing. CCFC is a privately owned business that has to provide a venue to perform their business. That isn't the...

    new ground ??

We used to get 26K in this division under Jimmy Hill. Presumably if you aim for 22K max your ambition is NEVER to be in the premiership.

    Sandra Garlick

Presumably as a solicitor ie NOT someone in the design industry - she is not going to be asking fundamantal questions about size and orientation etc. It will be little things to 'personalise' it for Cov fans like having a sky blue stripe on the curtains in the bar.

    Sandra Garlick

The main problem with this design is that it doesn't allow light or air to get to the pitch. You would end up with a moss / mud pitch in Coventry.

do you reckon we are any nearer ????

Every week has a thursday so there is always a chance that something will happen sometime.....I wouldn't offer to let anyone kick your arse until a deal is done if I were you.

Then all genuine fans know nothing about design. You do not start a design until you know where it is going.

    Tim says sorry

as if it matters whether it is 200K 500K or £1m..... The point is that it was SISU who put CCFC Ltd in admin and SISU / Otium who benefitted by writing off millions of debt. Tim isn't apologising he is trying to blame ACL for the admin.

Poll - Who is to blame?

I cannot find any reason to blame the Council in any way for the mess. No argument ever put forward to the contrary has made a justifiable case for changing this view. That is because every argument against CCC/ACL stems from a view that they have a responsibility to the supporters of CCFC...

    Ricoh Question

I agree. The owners would not on the face of it be a business that develops themselves so what would be the point of the council selling them the land? It should also be borne in mind that giving SISU / Otium the stadium etc is only a short term fix in itself. Selling off bits of land is how so...

    Ricoh Question

Does anyone know the terms of the planning permission for the Ricoh? Everyone assumes that if SISU/Otium want the ground they get everything. Could the council sell them just the stadium and concourse and keep the rest for themselves? Possibly in those terms the stadium itself is only worth...

    The alleged £320,000 matchday costs

Actually I don't think SISU / Otium are trying to convince Cov fans of anything. Most don't believe a word they say anyway, they must know that. They are probably trying to convince their investors to not pull the plug on this ridiculous battle which continues to cost them ever more money. Even...

    The Final Proof

Here's an analogy for you. SISU are in their citadel with high battlements. We are an army surrounding the citadel and trying to starve them out. we can't see over the wall so we don't know how well our plan in going. But you and your mates are the ones sitting there after a few weeks...

Updated CCFC lowest ever league attendences

It already doesn't work. Look at Man City with their stadium sponsorship.

Six English league clubs in financial peril

I would take exception to the expression well-publicised failure. It was publicised but not well publicised. The manipulation of League rules and companies law was virtually ignored.
