Is it too early to say Port Vale is a must win?

Actually this is THE must win game. If we draw the maximum we can get is 48 points. That will be nowhere near good enough this season to finish fifth bottom. I would also suggest that Wembley is a must win.

Question to all who witnessed last night.

Footie players aren't the brightest on the planet. It can't help that they have had four different sets of instructions this season. They must be confused.

We have to win or draw every one of our remaining games. If we lose or draw two games we will be down.

Wasps billing CCFC for pitch repairs after Wycombe game

Bloody Hell - a thread of 11 pages on some scuffed up turf.

girls aren't soft and cuddly any more they are hard as nails. It is getting difficult to compare soft blokes to anything. The only safe thing would be 'your're acting like a premiership player'. Doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

    More than a little concerned

I try to imagine what SISU think about owning CCFC. It must be taking up an inordinate amount of their time for zero benefit. Presumably they are in denial and pretend that it is a valuable part of their business. They try to treat it like any other part without actually knowing how to deal with...

    More than a little concerned

Nothing upsets a landlord more than their tenant not paying their rent. It was always likely the landlord would want to deal with anyone else at all, even another Hedge Fund, than a defaulting tenant.

Is it too soon to say that Bradford is a must win?

No it is not too soon. We definitely need to win. We need at least four points from every two games for the rest of the season.

It is too early to say Shrewsbury is a must win?

Oldham and Gillingham have an average of 1.1 points per game. They need only 11 points from 11 games to get 50 points. So they can be even worse than they already are and get 50 points. CCFC average 0.73 points per game. We need 25 points from 12 games to reach 50 points or 2.08 points per game...

    Welcome to the shadowplay

I don't begrudge anyone going. Enjoy the occasion. There have been too few to enjoy. I doubt there will be 40K there though. There are an awful lot of us feel like Grendel. Don't agree that Oggy should lead the team out. Are they there because of anything he has done?

When Mowbray said it was Men against Boys I don't believe he was complaining about the average age of his own squad. He was talking about the attitude of the players. When you are 21 you are old enough to drive a car, marry, divorce, fight in a war, vote, smoke and drink. You are a man...

    Russell Slade

As I said when he arrived, the test of whether we would stay up was whether he would be allowed to recruit someone who was going to score goals. That hasn't happened. As usual expected to fight with one arm tied behind his back

If you don't have anyone to stick the ball in the back of the net on a regular basis then it doesn't matter who else you've got in the side or how you play.

Match Thread Coventry v Millwall Match Thread - Saturday 4th Feb

To be honest I don't know why anyone would want to be a manager nowadays. The players are totally spoilt. over paid and indulged. It is like herding cats. For me the players need to take most of the flak.

    JR2

If they aren't talking they won't even be able to tell SISU and the club to feck off

    JR2

Personally I don't think this affects CCFC as a football club in any respect whatsoever. They aren't investing in the club and if they win the JR2 they still won't. I presume they can still pursue the JR2 even if they don't own the club. So it is carry on as you are.
